Seresto^® 1.25 g + 0.56 g collar for dogs ≤ 8 kg,

Areas of application: For the prevention and treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis, C. canis) with a duration of action of 7 to 8 months. The veterinary medicinal product prevents the development of flea larvae in the immediate environment of the animal for 8 months. The veterinary drug can be used as part of the treatment strategy for flea bite infections allergic skin inflammation (flea allergy dermatitis, FAD). We chose Seresto for our Havanese male (7.5kg) because we have more confidence in this collar than spot-on drops. We've been using Seresto for several years in a row now, and the number of ticks we find on it after walks has dropped dramatically since then. Previously there were sometimes 3 or 4 per week, now there are 5 - 6 in a summer. In our opinion, Seresto is better than tick protection vests. In the hot summer, our dog doesn't like the additional warming vest very much. In addition, we have not had as good an experience with the vests in terms of tick protection as with the Seresto.

I've had the band for my dogs for years, everything was fine, but when I recently ordered new ones and put them on the dogs, it didn't work at all. After 2 days I had to remove them again because they got an infection on the neck, an open wound with pus, I have no idea what Bayer did there and I paid so much money for that. The tapes immediately ended up in the trash.
