Instructions for use for ADVANTAGE 400 Solution Pipetten F. Dogs from 25 kg, 1x4 pcs

Advantage 400 F. Dogs single -dose pipettes

for dogs = 25 kg
Advantage® solution for rushing on the skin for dogs, cats and ornamental rabbits.

Active ingredient: imidacloprid.
Composition: 1 ml solution contains 100 mg imidaclopride and 1 mg butylhydroxytoluole.
Other components: benzyl alcohol, propylene carbonate. Fill quantities: dog: 0.4 ml, 0.8 ml, 1.0 ml, 2.5 ml or 4.0 ml. Cat and rabbits: 0.4 ml or 0.8 ml.

Application areas:
For prevention and treatment of flea infestation in dogs and in cats, for the treatment of hairling infestation (trichodectes canis) in dogs and for treating flea infestation in ornamental rabbits. In dogs and cats, the veterinary medicine can be used as part of the treatment strategy in the case of flea stitches triggered allergic dermatitis. Advantage® for dogs: Within 24 hours after using Advantage®, the fleas located on the dog are discounted&Pouml; tet. The one -time treatment works against fleas for 4 weeks.

Advantage® for cats and ornamental rabbits: The fleas located on the animal are killed within one day after treatment. The one -time treatment acts for 3 to 4 weeks against fleas in cats and up to a week with ornamental rabbits.

Contraindications: do not apply at less than 8 weeks old suction puppies. Do not apply to rabbits that are intended for human consumption. Do not apply to ornamental rabbits who are younger than 10 weeks old. Not Applying with known hypersensitivity to the active ingredient or one of the other components.

Side effects: The veterinary medicine tastes bitter. Therefore, licking the application center can cause salivation immediately after the solution is set. This is not a sign of poisoning and after a few minutes without further treatment (see also section type and duration of the Application). In very rare cases, skin reactions such as temporary hair loss, redness, itching and/or an inflammatory reaction can occur at the application center in cats and rabbits. In exceptional cases, cats were also reported on signs of unrest, excessive saliva and nervous symptoms such as coordination disorders, tremors and fatigue.

Interactions: There was no signs of clinical intolerance after the simultaneous administration of advantage in the double therapeutic dosage with the following drugs used in veterinary medicine Observed: Lufenuron, Pyrantel and Praziquantel (cats). The tolerance of advantage with a number of other routine therapies, including vaccinations, was also shown under field conditions.
