Field of use

• If you don't feel better or worse after 7 - 14 days, you have to contact your doctor.
• The drug contains the active ingredient terbinafin hydrochloride and belongs to a group of medicines against fungal diseases. This medicine is intended for the treatment of mushrooms and yeasts on the skin.
• The medicine is used against certain yeasts and skin mushrooms, of which the athlete's foot is the best known. More information about other fungal infections can be found in the "Dosage" category".

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used
  • if you are allergic to terbinafin or one of the other components of this drug. You can recognize a hypersensitivity, for example, by red spots and swelling of the skin or itching.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine exactly as described in this use information or exactly according to the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Adults and young people (12 years and older)
  • Duration and frequency of the application
    • Foot mushroom (Tinea Pedis):
      • once a day for 1 week.
      • Possible symptoms of foot fungus are itching, redness and scales between the toes and on the soles of the feet.
      • Occasionally there can also be tears of the skin (especially between the toes) and blisters.
      • Foot mushroom often causes an unpleasant smell.
    • Lichen (tinea corporis):
      • once a day for 1 week.
      • A braid consists of slowly growing, itchy, reddened and scaly circular spots that can be distributed all over the body.
    • Skin mushroom (cutaneous candidiasis):
      • 1 to 2 weeks a day.
      • Candida is a yeast mushroom that can cause infection of the skin under certain circumstances. The damage to the skin is often in warm, damp body regions such as the bar or under the breasts. The symptoms are itching, redness and scaling.
    • Kleisliechte (Pityriasis Versicolor):
      • 1 to 2 times a day for 2 weeks.

• Children
  • The drug is not recommended for use in children under the age of 12, since there are only limited experiences in this age group.

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • If you have used too much medicinal products, this does not cause any damage. If you are uncertainty, however, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• This medicine is only intended for external application.
• Apply so much cream that the affected skin area and its surroundings are covered with a thin layer of cream. Grate them slightly. If the treated skin area is in a skin fold (under the breasts, between the toes or fingers, in the strips or between the buttocks), you should cover the skin with a sterile bandage mull, especially at night. If applying the cream does not serve to treat your hands, please wash your hands afterwards.

• Pregnancy
  • The medicine should not be applied during pregnancy or if you plan pregnancy. Please inform your doctor if you become pregnant during treatment.
• Breastfeeding
