Field of use

Spalt Painstays (pack size: 10 pc) are used as non-steroidal anti-phlogistics/analgesic to treat acute light to moderately severe pain. Spalt Painstays (pack size: 10 pc) are pain relieving, fever -lowering and anti -inflammatory.

Mode of action

Acetylsalicylic acid and paracetamol, the active ingredients of the Spalt painkillers (pack size: 10 pc), are inhibitors of the cyclooxygenase. While the mechanism of action for the primarily cerebral paracetamol has not yet been fully clarified, the acetylsalicylic acid is already easy to understand. Both paracetamol and acetylsalicylic acid prevent the synthesis of pain, inflammation and fever-interpreting messenger substances and thus counteract corresponding symptoms. The combination of the two active ingredients now achieves an effect on the individual active ingredients in the pain and fever treatment. This effect could in different animal modelen are confirmed.

1 Tablet of the Spalt painkillers (pack size: 10 pcs) contains

as an effective components:

• 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid
• 300 mg paracetamol

as other components:

• Cellulose powder, microcrystalline cellulose, glyceroltrite trade scanoat, cornstarch, povidon K25, high -disperse silicon dioxide, stearic acid

Contradictions

Spalt Painstays (pack size: 10 pc) must not be taken at:

• known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients
• Gastrointestinal ulcers
• increased tendency to bleed
• Children and adolescents under the age of 12
• existing pregnancy and during breastfeeding

Spalt Painstays (pack size: 10 pc) may only be taken with special caution and after consultation with a doctor at:

• Bronchial asthma
• simultaneous therapy with anticoagulant medicines
• chronic and recurring stomach and intestinal complaints
• pre -damaged kidney
• heavy liver dysfunction
• Gilbert syndrome (Meulengracht's disease)
• Hypersensitivity to other anti -inflammatory/anti -rheumatics

dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and young people take over 12 years 1 tablet (corresponding to 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid and 300 mg paracetamol) as a single dose and if necessary, up to 3 more tablets every day every 4-8 hours. The total daily dose is 4 times 1 tablet (corresponding to 1200 mg acetylsalicylic acid and 1200 mg paracetamol) and should not be exceeded.

Spalt Painstays (pack size: 10 pc) you can loosen into some liquid or take unknown with plenty of liquid, preferably after a meal. The application in self-medication should not last longer than 3-4 days.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist!

- There is no experience to ensure the security of the combination preparation during pregnancy.
- Paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid and caffeine can get into the childish cycle
- Animal experiments and the previous experience of humans do not result in any evidence of fruit compensation by paracetamol.
- Salicylates have shown fruit -damaging effects in animal experiments on several animal species.
- Since the influence on pregnancy is unclear, the drug should not be taken in the first 6 months of pregnancy. Accepting in the past 3 months is not allowed.
- Acetylsalicylic acid, paracetamol and caffeine pass into breast milk. During breastfeeding, the condition and behavior of the infant can be affected by caffeine recorded with breast milk.
- A disadvantageous consequences for the infant through paracetamol and acetylsalicylic acid have not yet become known. If the recommended dose is used in the short term, an interruption of breastfeeding will generally not be necessary. If higher doses are used for longer or taking higher doses.

Hints

Due to the proportion of acetylsalicylic acid, Spalt painkillers (pack size: 10 pc) should not be used in children and adolescents with feverish illnesses. There is a risk that the treatment develops Reye syndrome. Reye syndrome is a very rare and possibly life-threatening Disease that urgently needs an immediate medical treatment.

Do not apply longer for pain or fever without medical advice than specified in the package insert!

Miscellaneous

- Only take short notice in the event of acute pain
- Inform the doctor/dentist when taking operations before operations
- In the case of black feces (tale chair), immediately notify the doctor
- If signs of an infection appear or worsen during the intake, inform the doctor immediately
- If the specified intake is exceeded, the liver values can increase. Therefore, regular control of the liver values, especially in children, is required.
- Pain relievers should not be taken for a long time or in large quantities without questioning the doctor.
- Due to the fever -lowering effect, an improvement in the disease can be faked. If necessary, the doctor should be asked.
- The habitual taking of painkillers is dangerous. It can lead to irreversible health damage.
- The long -term taking of painkillers, especially when taking several pain relievers, can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure.
- The long-term taking of this combination of pain relievers can lead to an increased risk of kidney failure, while taking other substances that have a harmful effect on the kidneys, pre-existing kidney damage, genetically determined susceptibility or diseases that can lead to kidney damage.
- There is no secure indications that a possible dependency potential of analgesics such as acetylsalicylic acid or paracetamol is increased by caffeine. Even if it can be assumed on the basis of the theoretical considerations, an independent abuse potential of caffeine in combination with acetylsalicylic acid or paracetamol is not proven due to the current knowledge material.
