Field of use

• The preparation contains an extract made of ginkgo leaves.
• The medicine is used
  • For symptomatic treatment of mental loss of performance. The application is carried out as part of a therapeutic overall concept when the intellectual skills (demential syndrome) have been obtained or lost with progress or loss of acquired mental ability:
    • Memory disorders, concentration disorders, depression, dizziness, sausage of ears, headache.
  • The individual response to the medication cannot be predicted.
  • Before the treatment begins with this medicine, it should be clarified whether the disease signs are not based on a specifically treated underlying disease.
  • Frequently occurring dizziness and ears of the ears basically need to clarify by a doctor. In the event of sudden hearing loss or hearing loss, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are hypersensitive to Ginkgo Biloba or one of the other components,
  • during pregnancy.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Adults from the age of 18 should take 1 film-coated tablet twice a day (corresponding to 120 mg of ginkgo extract twice a day), in the morning and evening 1 film-coated tablet.
  • Children and adolescents
    • The medicine is not intended for use in people under the age of 18 (see category "Indication").

 

• How long should you use the medicine?
  • The duration of treatment should be at least 8 weeks. After a treatment period of 3 months, the doctor must check whether the continuation of the treatment is still justified.
• Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of this drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should:
  • Overdose symptoms are not yet known. The side effects mentioned below may occur increased when they have taken a larger amount. Please notify your doctor. This may decide on the necessary measures.

 

• If you forgot to take it:
  • Next time, do not take the twice the amount, but continue with taking your doctor.
