Application instructions

Young people aged 12 and over and adults

10 ml

1-3 times daily

at least 6 hours apart, between meals

Children weighing 10-15 kg	2 ml	1-3 times daily	at least 6 hours apart, between meals
Children weighing 16-20 kg	3 ml	1-3 times daily	at least 6 hours apart, between meals
Children weighing 21-27 kg	4 ml	1-3 times daily	at least 6 hours apart, between meals

How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

The active ingredient calms the urge to cough by occupying certain binding sites in the airways and thereby preventing stimuli from being passed on and us constantly having to cough. The active ingredient also expands the bronchi and relaxes the muscles in the respiratory tract.

What speaks against an application?

Always:
- Hypersensitivity to the ingredients
- Cough with heavy mucus production
- Decreased function of the cilia in the respiratory tract, as in:
- Kartagener syndrome
- Ciliary dyskinesia
- Severely impaired liver function

Under certain circumstances - talk to your doctor or pharmacist about this:
- Severely impaired kidney function

Which age group should be taken into account?
- Infants and small children under 2 years of age: The medicine must not be used.

What about pregnancy and lactation?
- Pregnancy: The medicine must not be used.
- Breast-feeding: The medicine must not be used.
