For the short-term local treatment of mild to moderate pain in acute bruises, strains and sprains resulting from blunt trauma Diclofenac AL pain gel forte is ideal. The gel contains the active ingredient diclofenac, which is characterized by anti-inflammatory and pain-reducing properties. It penetrates deep into the tissue to specifically combat inflammation. Recommended use of Diclofenac Al Pain Gel Forte 20 mg/g (pack size: 100 g):

Diclofenac Al Pain Gel Forte 20 mg/g (pack size: 100 g) is for use on the skin of adults and adolescents aged 14 and over.
To achieve all-day pain relief, apply Diclofenac Al Pain Gel Forte 20 mg/g (pack size: 100 g) thinly to the affected part of the body twice a day - morning and evening - and rub the pain gel lightly the skin. Depending on the area of the body affected, an amount the size of a cherry to a walnut (equivalent to 1 to 4 g of gel equivalent to 20 to 80 mg of diclofenac sodium) is required. The maximum total daily dose is 8 g gel (equivalent to 160 mg diclofenac sodium).
Use Diclofenac Al Pain Gel Forte 20 mg/g (pack size: 100 g) only on intact skin. Skin wounds, open injuries, eyes and mucous membranes must not come into contact with the pain gel. After application, wipe your hands with a paper towel that is disposed of in the trash and only wash them afterwards - unless these are the area to be treated.
If the symptoms have not improved after 3 to 5 days or have worsened, please consult a doctor.

Intake

  • The medicine is intended for use on the skin.
  • Apply the gel thinly to the affected areas of the body and rub it lightly into the skin. It should not be rubbed in with pressure. Hands should then be wiped on a paper towel and then washed, unless these are the area to be treated. The paper towel must be disposed of in the residual waste.
  • Before applying a bandage, the preparation should dry on the skin for a few minutes. Also wait for the gel to dry on your skin before showering or bathing.

  • Warnings and Precautions
    • Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.
      • If the gel is applied to a large area of the skin and used over a longer period of time, the occurrence of systemic (affecting the entire body) side effects due to the use of the preparation cannot be ruled out. The gel should therefore be used with caution in patients with impaired renal, cardiac or liver function, as well as in patients with active peptic ulcers in the stomach or duodenum.
      • The medicine may only be applied to intact, not diseased or injured skin. Eyes and mucous membranes must not come into contact with the medicine and it must not be taken.
      • After applying the gel to the skin, you can use a permeable (non-occlusive) dressing. However, the gel should dry on the skin for a few minutes before applying a bandage. You must not use an airtight occlusive dressing.
      • Seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3-5 days.
      • If you suffer from asthma, hay fever, swelling of the nasal mucous membranes (so-called Nasal polyps) or chronic bronchial narrowing (obstructive) respiratory diseases, chronic respiratory infections (especially associated with hay fever-like symptoms) or hypersensitivity to other painkillers and rheumatism medications of all kinds, you are affected by asthma attacks (so-called analgesic intolerance/analgesic asthma), local skin - or swelling of the mucous membranes (so-called Quincke's edema) or urticaria are more at risk than other patients. In these patients, the medicine may only be used under certain precautionary measures (emergency preparedness) and under direct medical supervision.       • Discontinue treatment if a skin rash occurs during treatment with the medicine.

Pregnancy
