With over 450 billion bacteria per dose (Sachet), VSL#3 is the world's highest-dosed probiotic. It has 8 strains of bacteria from lactic acid and bifidobacteria and streptococci, that occur naturally in the human intestine.

The intestinal mucosa (intestinal mucosa) has to do a great deal for our health: On a surface of more than 400m2, together with the intestinal flora (intestinal microbiota) and the mucos (mucus) effectively ward off pathogens and pollutants - but at the same time the Advance digestion and selectively absorb water and nutrients. The intestinal cells are firmly connected via small bridges (“tight junctions”). When these break, pathogens flow and pollutants enter the body uncontrollably and trigger an immune reaction. The immune system overreacts and inflammation, pain and diarrhea can result. If the intestinal mucosa is permeable in the long term, leaky gut syndrome develops. The consequences are often allergies and subliminal inflammations, e.g. in patients with irritable bowel syndrome.

If the intestinal flora is imbalanced, i.e. there is a changed composition than in a healthy state, one speaks of a dysbiosis. A dysbiosis can, for example caused by medication, gastrointestinal diseases or chronic stress, among other things. The natural composition becomes unbalanced and "disease-causing" bacteria or fungi can develop colonize the intestine more quickly (miscolonization). The application of VSL#3

I've had UC for years and just couldn't get into long-term remission. I changed my doctor and the new one recommended VSL3 because there are good studies on it. I've been taking this since November 1/2 year now. And I'm finally free of symptoms.

I have suffered from irritable bowel syndrome for 20 years. Stomach pain and bloated stomach are part of my life. Unfortunately, the constant fear of sudden diarrhea and no toilet nearby is part of my life! So far - I was recommended VSL#3 by my new nutritionist and I'm thrilled. This is now my 2nd pack and my stomach is significantly smaller and the constant pressure in my stomach is gone. The diarrhea has also cleared up. It's not perfect yet, but what do you expect after 20 years of constant problems. I will definitely continue to use this product!

Since I have been taking VSL3 (only for a short time) there has been a significant improvement in my general well-being. I can only recommend it and will definitely buy it again. If you calculate it, it's not that expensive. Other probiotics have a much lower dosage - then I have to take 3 capsules or bags. Here I get everything I need in just 1 dose.

i've always had problems with irritable bowel syndrome, from a big stomach to flatulence to constipation. Feel like I've spent half my life on the toilet. I read about VSL in a women's magazine and wanted to try it. To date I have tried dozens of different products. From cortisone to the green probiotic, to lots of Amazon Mist probiotics. Nothing really helped. I've been taking the product for 2 months now and it has improved significantly. The constant bloating in my stomach is gone and I am no longer constipated. Really recommended!

Thank you thank you thank you for this product! I have had problems with my intestines for years. Sometimes diarrhea, sometimes constipation and always this bloated stomach. I hardly dared to go out the door anymore - but now I'm finally back! I found VSL#3 in a women's magazine and thought I'd give it a try! And indeed – after 14 days the symptoms slowly subsided. I feel good about VSL#3. It was recommended to me a few years ago by a professor of microbiology and I take it every now and then as a kind of treatment for my intestinal flora. I was originally quite skeptical, but I now feel an improvement in my intestinal flora. Flatulence becomes less, the pressure and tension in the stomach decreases significantly. However, the price is relatively high; But if it helps, that's fine. I will continue taking the medication and hope for lasting improvement for myself.
