Effective help in dry eyes

The dry eye or keratoconjunctivitis sicca affects 15 - 17% of the total population in Germany. It is a multifactorial disturbance of the tear film and the surface of the eye. An intact tear film is essential for healthy eyes because it wettes the surface of the eye, keeps it smooth and smooth, rinses out foreign bodies and protects against bacterial infections. In addition, the horn and conjunctiva are supplied with oxygen and nutrients. If the quality or quantity of the tear film is disturbed, typical symptoms such as tired, burning, itchy and scratching eyes, reinforced tear flow, sensitivity to light, reddening of the conjunctiva or feeling of dryness. With 0.18% hyaluronic acid
Hyaluronic acid is an body's own fabric that, as a part of the tear fluid, ensures that moisture can be stored and nutrients can be transported. With their special physical and chemical properties, biotechnologically produced hyaluronic acid solutions are similar to the natural tear fluid. They are therefore very popular in ophthalmology to treat the dry eye. The Vismed^® Multi product contains 0.18% hyaluronic acid. Clinical studies show the effectiveness of Vismed^® Multi and a significant decline in the symptoms.*

Application recommendation:
Turn off the locker, tilt your head back and keep the drip opening over the eye to be treated. Pull the bottom of the eye down with the index finger of a hand. The Vismed^® multi solution is released by slightly pressing the vial. Unless otherwise recommended, 1-2 drops of Vismed^® Multi drop into the conjunctiva bag. Do not bring the tipper in contact with the eye or touch with your fingers. The solution is distributed by the eyelid and forms a transparent and durable fluid layer on the surface of the eye.

Hormonal
Changes
Pregnant women and women in menopause are subject to hormonal fluctuations and changes. These can favor dry eyes and cause unpleasant symptoms.

DISEASES
Risk factors of the dry eye such as diabetes mellitus, dermatological and rheumatic diseases, as well as radiation of the head influence the production of the tear film. Taking certain drugs can also negatively affect the tear fluid.

Climatic factors

Can you prevent dry eyes?

Why are Multi electrolyte contained in Vismed^®?
Since the cornea does not contain blood vessels, it must be supplied from "outside". The electrolytes ensure optimal care for the eye and counteract a cell loss. Vismed^® Multi contains the electrolyte potassium, magnesium and calcium in a concentration corresponding to the tear film.

What is a dosing container with a "OSD system?
OSD stands for OPhthalmic SQueze DIsspenser. Vismed^® Multi's bottle is provided with an innovative dosing system that does not require preservatives because the product does not come into contact with air. OSD systems are particularly advantageous for chronic diseases that require longer use. The patented system was developed in Germany and works like a standard drip bottle.

What is the difference between Vismed^® Multi and Vismed^®?
Basically, both products are the same from the composition - they contain 0.18% hyaluronic acid. The difference is: Vismed^® is available as a single dose ampoule and Vismed^® Multi as a drop bottle. So every user can decide which form of dosage he wants to use.

Field of use

Vismed Multi eye drops (pack size: 3x10 ml) is to wetting the eyes with a subjectively perceived sense of dryness as well as burning, tired eyes and other disorders without disease.
These can be caused by dust, smoke, dry heat, air -conditioned air, wind, cold, long -term screen work or contact lensing (hard and switch).

Contradictions

Please do not apply Vismed Multi eye drops (pack size: 3x10 ml) if you have a hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.

For me these are simply the best eye drops! I've tried countless others and haven't tolerated any of them as well as Vismed. The only drawback is the bottle itself... You often can't dose the drops very well.

Obviously medically good, but the dosing device is completely unsuitable for instilling it into the eye. It is a spray bottle that only releases liquid in a more or less controlled manner under great pressure.
