I'm very satisfied. It smells fresh and very pleasant, is quickly absorbed and leaves a slightly cooling and refreshing feeling on the skin. Above all, I like the light gel consistency, just right for summer.

That's not the case with this product. This is exactly the right product for my normal and sometimes slightly dry skin. I will definitely buy it again. I was able to test the Vichy Homme Hydra Cool + Cream as part of a Facebook campaign. The product should demonstrate its refreshing and invigorating effect in the morning when you get up and after a long day in the sun to cool your face. It is easy to apply, non-greasy and absorbs quickly. You notice the cooling, refreshing effect immediately. However, this feeling doesn't last very long, so I have to deduct a star. But it's brilliant just for sunbathing. I also like that it doesn't leave any greasy feeling on my face.

For packaging. In my opinion, a tube in a cardboard packaging that is in a cardboard slipcase is a bit too much cardboard. The tube alone would have done it too. Now to the actual product. The smell is pleasant. However, it reminds me a lot of the AX Alaska from 15 years ago. Based on its consistency, you may at first have the impression that the product will leave a greasy film on the skin. However, after application, the gel is absorbed quickly and without an unpleasant film. There is also no film or foam formation in the beard, which is the case with many other products. The promised cooling effect is there, but it disappears just as quickly. Basically you can say that the warmer it is, the faster the cooling effect disappears. In my opinion, there can be no question of “Ice-Shot”. I also find it a bit questionable that the product is advertised for sensitive skin, as the cooling effect is achieved with menthol and this is not really “gentle” on the skin. What is definitely positive and has impressed me much more is the moisturizing care. I've been using the gel every morning for about a week now and I have to say that my skin feels noticeably softer and fresher. Therefore, I would normally give the product 3.5 stars, but due to the rating system I will give it 4 because the product does not deserve a 3.

It provides moisture for over 48 hours and, especially important for men, it is absorbed immediately. It's a shame that it's only available for the face and not for the whole body.
