Contradictions

• The drug should not be used in the case of known hypersensitivity to oats, hops and valerian.

dosage

• Unless otherwise prescribed:
  • For sleep disorders:
    • Before going to bed, take 1 to 3 teaspoon of syrup in some warm water.
  • With nervous unrest:
    • take 2 teaspoon of syrup undiluted or diluted with water 3 times a day.

 

• Duration of the application:
  • The treatment should be completed after 2 weeks. If there is no improvement within 2 - 3 days, a doctor must be visited. In children up to the age of the second year of life, there is often no stable sleep/wax rhythm, so that sleep disorders or waking up at night do not have to be any signs of disease that requires treatment.
  • The duration of the treatment of chronic diseases requires a consultation with the doctor.

Miscellaneous

- Children up to the age of two do not yet have a stable sleep-wake rhythm, so that the drug is not necessary for falling asleep or nightly waking up.
- A doctor must be interviewed in the event of complaints over a longer period of time or unclear complaints.
- If the symptoms are not improved within 2-3 days, a doctor must be interviewed.
