Field of use

The preparation is used for symptomatic treatment of

• slight to moderate pain
• with fever

Mode of action

The active ingredient has a pain relieving and fever -lowering. It also has low anti -inflammatory properties. He blocks the formation of certain messenger substances in the body, so -called prostaglandins. These are significantly involved in the development of pain, fever and inflammation.

Contradictions

The dosage is based on the following information.

Paracetamol is dosed depending on body weight and age, usually with 10 to 15 mg/kg body weight as a single dose, up to a maximum of 60 mg/kg body weight as a total daily dose.

• Liver dysfunction and easy restriction of kidney function

  If you have used a larger amount than you should
  
  The total dose of paracetamol is allowed to exceed 4000 mg paracetamol (corresponding to 8 suppository 500 mg) daily for adults and adolescents from the age of 12 or from 43 kg body weight.
  
  In the event of an overdose, there are generally complaints within 24 hours that include nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pallions and abdominal pain.
  If a larger amount of the drug has been used than recommended, call a doctor to help!
  If you have forgotten the application
  
  Don't turn the DOPpelt dose when you have forgotten the previous application.

Taking

If possible, the medicine is inserted deep into the anus after the bowel movement. To improve the sliding capacity, heat suppository in the hand or briefly dive into warm water.

Particular caution when using the medicine is required if you are chronically alcoholic if you suffer from impairing liver function (liver inflammation, Gilbert syndrome) with pre-damaged kidney.
