Field of use

• The preparation is a remedy for fungal infections (antifungal).
• The medicine is used in the case of proven nystatin-sensitive yeast infections of the skin if neither a fat ending nor drying out component is desirable, in particular with the participation of Candida Spp., Such as. B. Diapers
• The preparation has a specific effect against saprophytic and parasitic yeast, especially against Candida species. The active ingredient nystatin inhibits the spread of pathogens at low and medium dosage. These are killed by high nystatin doses. Contradictions

dosage

• Always apply the medicine exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• The usual dose is:
  • apply thinly to the diseased skin areas 2 - 4 times a day and rub it in easily.
  • In severe cases, an hourly application can prove sensible.

 

• Duration of the application
  • The preparation should be applied for about 6 days until the disease subsides. In order to secure full therapy success, the treatment should be continued for another 8-10 days.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression have that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • You can continue treatment with the dose prescribed.
  • No impairments can be expected in the event of a short -term overdose.

 

• If you have forgotten the application
  • Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.

 

• If you cancel the application

Taking

Pregnancy

• Nystatin, the active ingredient of the preparation, is hardly absorbed in therapeutic dose after oral gift, over the intact skin or over the mucous membranes. The placenta barrier does not happen, and a transfer to breast milk is also not to be expected.
• The medicine can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
