Field of use

• with slight to moderately severe pain

• suitable for children from 6 years with a body weight from 20 kg

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients and:

• Hypersensitivity to other painkillers
• in a history of bronchospasm, asthma, nasal inflammation or hives (urticaria) in connection with the intake of acetylsalicylic acid or other painkillers
• in the past stomach or intestinal ulcers or bleeding
• in the case of unexplained blood clotting disorders
• for brain bleeding or other active bleeding
• heavy liver failure
• heavy renal insufficiency
• heavy heart failure
• with systymixed lupus erythematodes
• during pregnancy/lactation

dosage

The dosage interval should not fall below 6 hours and the maximum daily dose should not be exceeded.

• Children with a body weight from 20 - 29 kg:
  Single dose: 1 tablet (200 mg ibuprofen)
  Maximum daily dose: 3 tablets (600 mg ibuprofen)
• Children with a body weight from 29 - 40 kg:
  Single dose: 1 tablet (200 mg ibuprofen)
  Maximum daily dose: 4 tablets (800 mg ibuprofen)
• Children and adolescents from 40 kg:
  Single dose: 1 - 2 tablets (200 - 400 mg ibuprofen)
  Maximum daily dose: 6 tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen)

Taking

• To take. Only for short -term application. Don't chew.

Patient information

• Warnings and Precautions
  • Particular caution when taking it is required,
    • if you have certain diseases of the skin (systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or mixed collagenosis);
    • if you have severe skin reactions such as exfediative dermatitis, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis. At the first sign of rashes, mucosal lesions or other signs of a hypersensitivity reaction, the preparation should be discontinued immediately;
    • if you have certain congenital blood formation disorders (e.g. acute intermittent porphyria);
    • if you suffer or suffer from stomach and intestinal diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease);
    • with reduced kidney function;
    • for liver dysfunction;
    • if you try to get pregnant;
    • Special medical monitoring is necessary immediately after a larger surgical procedure;
    • If you suffer or suffer from asthma or allergic reactions, breath shortness of breath can occur;
    • in patients who suffer from hay fever, nasal polyps or chronic obstructive respiratory diseases, since there is an increased risk of the occurrence of allergic reactions. The allergic reactions can manifest themselves as asthma attacks (so-called analgesic asthma), quincke-edema or hives;
    • Taking the capsules during a chickenpox disease (varicella) should be avoided;
    • if you suffer from blood clotting disorders;
    • If the administration is permanently, regularly checking your liver values, kidney function and blood count is required;
    • Simultaneous use with other NSAIDs, including COX-2 inhibitors (cyclooxigenase-2-inhibitors), increases the risk of side effects and should therefore be avoided;
    • Side effects can be minimized if the lowest effective dose is used over the shortest possible period;
    • Side effects can occur more frequently in older patients;
    • In general, the habitual use of (different types of) painkillers can lead to permanent severe kidney damage. The risk is possibly increased under physical stress, along with salt loss and dehydration, and should therefore be avoided;
    • The longer use of all kinds of painkillers against headaches can make them worse. If this is the case or if this is suspected, medical advice should be obtained and treatment can be broken off. The diagnosis of headache in medication overuse (Medication Overuse Headache, MOH) should be assumed in patients who suffer from frequent or daily headaches, although (or precisely because) they regularly take medicines for headaches;
    • There is a risk of kidney dysfunction in dehydrated children and adolescents;
    • NSAR can mask the symptoms of infection or fever.
  • Anti -inflammatory agents/painkillers such as ibuprofen can go hand in hand with a slightly increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially when using in high doses. Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment of treatmentuer.
  • You should discuss your treatment with your doctor or pharmacist before taking it if you
    • having heart disease, including heart failure (heart failure) and angina (chest pain), or a heart attack, a bypass operation, peripheral arterial disease (circulatory disorders in the legs or feet due to the narrowed or closed arteries) or any kind of stroke (including mini Had stroke or transitory ischemic attack, "tia");

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.
• Pregnancy
  • Do not take this medicine in the last 3 months of pregnancy. If the doctor advises not otherwise, avoid the use of this drug in the first 6 months of pregnancy.
• Breastfeeding
  • This drug merges into breast milk, but can be taken during breastfeeding if it is used in the recommended dose and possible time for the shortest.
• Reproductive ability
  • This medicine belongs to a group of drugs (NSAID) that can affect the fertility of women. This effect is reversible after stopping the drug (reversible).
