Against diarrhea in infants and children
In most cases, diarrhea in children is caused by a gastrointestinal infection, mainly caused by viruses and bacteria, but also by drugs such as antibiotics. The infections damage the intestinal mucosa, and the intestines also lose water and minerals that are necessary for a functioning metabolism. Especially in small children, dehydration can occur after just a few hours due to the severe loss of water, which is why medical advice should be sought quickly. Mutaflor® Suspension with natural intestinal bacteria can support the intestines in fighting diarrhea pathogens. Thanks to the practical drinking ampoule, the suspension can even be easily administered to infants.
Natural protection of the intestine
Mutaflor® Suspension is used to treat diarrhea in infants, toddlers and children. The medicinal product contains the natural bacterial culture E. coli strain Nissle 1917 in high concentration. Among other things, the intestinal bacterium produces antimicrobial substances that support the intestines in defending themselves against diarrhea pathogens. The intestinal flora is stabilized and the natural balance in the intestine is restored. This increases the protection of the intestine against the colonization of pathogenic germs. Studies show that the duration of diarrhea can be significantly reduced by using Mutaflor®.
APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION:
Tear off the Mutaflor® Suspension drinking ampoule from the block, shake vigorously and twist to remove the cap. The suspension can directly from the ampoule to be trickled into the mouth. In infants, the medicine is given before drinking, in small children after a meal.
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the recommended dose for infants, small children and children is 1 to 3x 1ml per day for diarrhea. Please always store Mutaflor® Suspension at 2°C to 8°C in the refrigerator.
FOR DIARRHEA
When you have diarrhea, more water and electrolytes are released into the intestine than usual. As a result, the stool becomes more liquid and the amount of stool increases. This natural defense reaction of the body causes disease-causing substances to be excreted as quickly as possible. At the same time, however, bacteria that are necessary for intestinal health are excreted. The supply of natural intestinal bacteria can rebalance the intestine and restore its normal function.

Although newborns have already received antibodies in the womb, their own immune system only develops after a few days or weeks. How should I feed my child with diarrhea?
