1. What is Marax 800 mg chewable tablets and what is it used for?

Marax 800 mg chewable tablets are a means for binding excess gastric acid (antizidum). It is used to treat symptoms of diseases in which gastric acid is to be bound: heartburn and acid-related stomach complaints, gastric or duodenum ulcers.

2. What do you need to consider before taking Marax 800 mg chewable tablets?

Marax 800 mg chewable tablets must not be taken if they are hypersensitive (allergic) to MagalDrat or any of the other ingredients of Marax 800 mg chewable tablets.

Special care when taking Marax 800 mg chewable tablets is required:

• if your renal function is restricted,
• for long-term use.

In these cases they are allowed to marax 800 mg chewable tablets only under regular medical control of certain blood levels (aluminum) take in.

Children:
Do not give this medicine to children under 12 years, as there is no sufficient experience in this age group.

When taking / application of Marax 800 mg chewable tablets with other medicines:
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you take / use other medicines or recently taken / applied, even if it is non-prescription medicines. 3. How to take Marax 800 mg chewable tablets?

Always take Marax 800 mg chewable tablets exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: children over 12 Years and adults take 1/2-1 several times a day as needed Chew tablet in.
