Application areas:
Inflammation of the skin and mucous membranes. If there is no improvement within 3 days or if there are signs of bacterial infection (e.g. purulent skin changes), a doctor should be consulted.

Natural help for the skin

Inflammation of the skin and itching can have a variety of causes. They can be of an infectious or allergic nature, due to external irritation or the influence of your own body develop. Since Kamillosan^® has a beneficial effect on most of these causes, its use is recommended for a number of skin diseases. Kamillosan^® ointment is a herbal medicine for external use in inflammatory skin and mucous membrane changes and contains the active ingredient Manzana chamomile. It reduces inflammation and promotes wound healing in small inflammatory wounds or inflammation in mouth and in the area of the lips, such as brittle, cracked lips. It is also suitable for use as a nasal ointment for inflammation of the nasal mucosa caused by a cold or sniffles Hay fever. Soreness and diaper rash are a common problem in infant care. Due to the delicate and sensitive children's skin, a particularly gentle and non-irritating treatment is required. Therefore, the use of Kamillosan^® ointment has also proven itself in infants from 4 weeks and small children. The most active chamomile variety

Kamillosan^® ointment contains a dry extract of chamomile blossoms as an active ingredient. Kamillosan^® is the only chamomile extract obtained from Manzana chamomile, which is particularly rich in active ingredients. This strain was specially bred and patented for Kamillosan . A special manufacturing process guarantees a consistently high content of active ingredients. Important to know: The quality of a chamomile extract depends largely on the original plant. The "true" or "common" chamomile has been known and valued as a medicinal plant since antiquity, and hardly any other native medicinal plant has it diverse healing effects like them. The Manzana chamomile clearly surpasses the chamomile used in other preparations in terms of its active ingredient content.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, Kamillosan^® ointment is used as follows: Apply thinly to the affected skin/mucous membrane areas several times a day. The duration of the application depends on Type, severity and course of the disease. Kamillosan^® ointment should not be used for more than 14 days without medical advice.

Since I want to use the ointment as an alternative nasal ointment, as stated in the item description, I was very confused by the lack of information in the package insert. The fact that this note is not described on the package insert should definitely either be noted in the item description or, better yet, included in the manufacturer's package insert. What also contributes to the uncertainty is that different ointments from the manufacturer are offered with very similar packaging.

This ointment helps me wonderfully in treating hemorrhoidal disease. Symptoms improve relatively quickly.
