How does the ingredient of the medicine work?

The ingredients come from the black cohosh plant and act as a natural mixture. About the plant itself:

- Appearance: upright, perennial perennial with thick, densely rooted rhizome and large, bi- to tri-pinnate leaves; the whitish flowers are arranged in racemes
- Occurrence: Europe, North America, Asia
- Main ingredients: Triterpene glycosides (Cimicifugoside, Actein, Cimiracemoside A, C and F)

Contraindications

• The medicine must not be taken
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to Cimicifuga rhizome extracts or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.
  • if you are or have been under medical treatment for an estrogen-dependent tumor, you must not use the medicine, as it is not known whether Cimicifuga rhizome extracts promote estrogen-dependent tumors or leave them unaffected.

dosage

• Always take the medicine exactly as directed in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
  • Take 1 film-coated tablet once a day.

 

• Duration of application
  • Do not take the medicine for more than 3 months without medical advice.
  • Please talk to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you take more medicine than you should
  • If you have taken more film-coated tablets than you should or if you suspect an overdose, please contact a doctor. This can decide on any necessary measures. The stomach problems listed under side effects may occur more frequently.

 

• If you forget to take the medicine
  • Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.
