Medical device.Ideal for natural stool regulation and easy bowel movements, it has a gentle laxative effect and is gentle on the intestinal flora.Can be used, for example, for hemorrhoidal disease, for prolonged bed rest, for children with constipation or after operations when straining during bowel movements should be avoided.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, it is best to insert it into the anus in the morning shortly before getting up.The effect sets in after 15-60 minutes.

1. When are glycerin suppositories Rösch used?
Glycerin suppositories Rösch are suppositories for insertion into the anus to treat constipation.To regulate bowel movements when easy passage is particularly desired: e.g. in hemorrhoidal disease, when confined to bed for a long time, in old people and children, after operations, when straining during bowel movements must be avoided or during pregnancy and breastfeeding when other remedies should not be used.Has a physical water-attracting effect and therefore stimulates the mucous membrane of the rectum to release water, making the thickened contents slippery.The simultaneous increase in volume triggers the defecation reflex after a short period of time.

2. When should glycerin suppositories Rösch not be used?
Glycerin suppositories Rösch must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to glycerin or any of the other ingredients of Glycerin suppositories Rösch.

Warnings and precautions:
The dosage (1 g suppository) should be observed, especially in infants and small children, and in the event of persistent intestinal disturbances, the focus should always be on clarifying the cause.So far, no application restrictions have been announced.However, it is under no circumstances recommended to carry out the treatment regularly over a long period of time without having the causes of the intestinal sluggishness clarified by a doctor.In cases of chronic constipation, natural intestinal regulation with fiber-rich food (fruit, vegetables) and sufficient fluid intake should also be sought.

Use of glycerin suppositories Rösch together with other medications:
So far no interactions have been reported.In stubborn and severe cases of constipation, it may be advisable to take a laxative that does not work immediately the evening before (possibly after consulting your doctor) and to use a glycerin suppository Rösch in the morning.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before use.If used correctly, use is unproblematic.

3. How to use Glycerin Suppositories Rösch?
Always use this medical product exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as discussed with your doctor or pharmacist.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.

• Infants and young children (28 days to 23 months): 1 suppository of 1 g.
• Children from 2 years, teenagers and adults: 1 suppository of 2 g.
• Adults (18 years and older) in stubborn cases: 1 suppository of 3 g.

It is best used in the morning shortly before getting up.Remove the suppository from the cover and insert it into the anus.The effect sets in after a short time (15-60 minutes).If necessary, you should delay emptying for a while after inserting the suppository so that the hardened stool masses can be sufficiently softened.

4. What side effects are possible?
None known so far, in rare cases there may be an uncomfortable feeling in the anus or a slight burning sensation in the rectum.

5. How should Glycerin Suppositories Rösch be stored?
Do not store above 25°C.Keep this medical device out of the reach of children.Do not use this pack after the expiry date printed on the folding carton and suppository cover.Do not dispose of this product via wastewater or household waste.Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medical device when you no longer use it.In doing so, you contribute to protecting the environment.
