1. What is Eusovital Forte and what is it used for?

Eusovital Forte is a vitamin preparation. It is used to treat a vitamin e-deficiency. Eusovital Forte is not suitable for the treatment of vitamin-e-deficiency states that are associated with a disturbed intake of vitamin E from the intestine. In these cases, parenteral preparations (injection solutions) are to disposal.

2. What should you consider before taking?

2.1 Do not take
You may not take Eusovital Forte if you are allergic to RRR-alpha-tocopherol (vitamin E), soy, peanut or one of the other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in Section 6.

2.2 Warnings and precautions
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Eusovital Forte,

• at the same time, if you occupy certain medicines for inhibiting blood clotting (see 2.3 interactions).
• if there is a vitamin K deficiency at the same time. In case of malabsorption, combined vitamin E and vitamin K deficiency, the blood clotting must be carefully monitored, as it came in individual cases to a strong waste of vitamin K.

What do you need in pregnancy and lactation?
Before taking or using all medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Pregnancy:
In pregnancy, you should take 13 mg vitamin E every day. Eusovital Forte passes the placenta. So far, no damage was observed at the unborn child - even at higher revenue quantities.

Latving:
In the lactation, you should take 17 mg vitamin E every day. Eusovital Forte arrives in the breast milk.

Impact on the ability to drive and use machines:
There are no special precautions required.

2.3 Interactions
Drugs can influence each other, so that their effect is then stronger or weaker than usual. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you apply other medicines, recently applied other medicines or intend to apply other medicines.

Ferrous medicines:
The effect ofn Eusovital Forte can be reduced if you take a ferric medicine at the same time. Therefore, take these medicines with a temporal distance of about 3 Hours.

Vitamin K antagonists:
Inhibition of blood clotting by drugs from the group of vitamin K antagonists (phenprocoumon, warfarin, dicumarol) can be reinforced while taking vitamin E. The blood clotting is therefore carefully monitored. Please talk to your doctor.

3. How to take Eusovital forte?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or just according to the consultation made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose for adults is: 1 soft capsule 1 times a day. This corresponds to 403 mg RRR-alpha-tocopherol or 403 mg RRR-alpha-tocopherola equivalent (see Note in Section 6). Please take Eusovital forte in question with sufficient fluid, preferably with a glass of drinking water (200 ML).

How long should you take Eusovital forte?
The duration of taking is dependent on the course of the basic disease. Please ask your doctor. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Eusovital Forte is too strong or too weak.

If you take more Eusovital Forte than you should, please notify a doctor. Dangerous disease phenomena due to overdose (Hypervitaminosen) are unknown.

If you forget to take Eusovital Forte, then do not take the double dose. Drive with the intake as for as prescribed by your doctor or in this

4. Which side effects are possible?

Storage conditions:
