Field of use

• The preparation is an antiscabiosum for external use on the skin.
• It is applied:
  • For the treatment of scabies (scabies)

Contraindications

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you are allergic to crotamiton or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
  • if you have acute weeping skin rash (acute exudative dermatitis).

dosage

• Always use the medicine exactly as described or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
• The recommended dose is:
  • The preparation should be applied thinly to the affected skin areas once a day.
• Use in children:
  • Children under 3 years of age should be used under medical supervision.

 

• Duration of application:
  • You should repeat the application for 3 to 5 consecutive days until you are free of symptoms.

 

• If you have used more than you should
  • You can easily remove excess ointment with water. If you have accidentally used the ointment several times a day or if you have accidentally swallowed the ointment, you should see your doctor.

 

• If you have any further questions about using this medicine, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

• Warnings and Precautions
  • Make sure that the ointment does not come into contact with the conjunctiva. Mucous membranes (mouth, nose) should be avoided when applying the medicine.
  • At the first signs of a hypersensitivity reaction, you should stop using the medicine. Consult your doctor so that he can decide on any further measures that may be necessary.
• Children
  • Children under 3 years of age should be used under medical supervision.

• Ability to drive and use machines
  • There are no special precautions required.

Pregnancy

• The medicine should only be used during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding after careful consideration of the benefit-risk ratio and taking into account alternative preparations.
• The medicine should not be used during breast-feeding unless clearly necessary; in this case breastfeeding must be stopped.
