1 g Ciclopirox ADGC 80 mg/g of active ingredient nail polish contains 80 mg Ciclopirox.

The other components are: poly (butylhydrogen malleatic co-method) (1: 1), ethyl acetate and 2-propanol (ph.eur.).

Contradictions

In the case of known hypersensitivity to one of the above -mentioned ingredients, Ciclopirox ADGC 80 mg/g of active ingredient nail polish (pack size: 3.3 ml) should not be used.

Always apply this medicine exactly as described in this package insert or exactly according to your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed, a thin layer of Ciclopirox ADGC is to be applied to the affected nail once a day.

Before applying Ciclopirox ADGC, you should remove affected parts of the nail as largely as possible, e.g. B. with scissors, while heavily horny areas are to be removed as largely as possible with a disposable nail file available in stores.

During the duration of use, you should remove the complete lacquer layer once a week with an enclosed or trading alcohol swab. During this process, you should also remove heavily horned material as possible with a disposable nail file from the nail plate.
If the lacquer layer is damaged between two applications, it is sufficient if you only spread the stripped areas with sufficient ciclopirox ADGC.
The duration of treatment depends on the extent of the infection, but should not exceed 6 months.

It is recommended that you carefully close the bottle's locking cap after each application to prevent the solution from drying out.
The solution must not come into contact with the screw thread of the bottle, otherwise the locking cap can be glued.

Taking

  • The use of topical drugs, especially over longer periods, can lead to the emergence of sensitization phenomena or cause side effects. In these situations, the treatment must be canceled and suitable therapeutic measures must be initiated. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
  • During treatment with the medicine, you are not allowed to use nail polish or other cosmetic nail products.
  • Children and adolescents

  • The medicine has no or a negligible influence on the roadworthiness and the ability to use machines.
