1. What is Calcium 500 mg hexal and what is it applied for?

Calcium 500 mg hexal is a mineral preparation.

Calcium 500 mg hexal is used

• for the prevention of a calcium mangel with increased demand (eg Growth age, pregnancy, lactation)
• for supportive treatment of osteoporosis.

2. What should you pay attention to 500 mg hexal before taking Calcium?

Calcium 500 mg hexal must not be taken

• if they are allergic to calcium carbonate or one of the other ingredients of this medicinal product referred to in section 6
• with too high calcium concentrations in the blood or in the urine
• for longer immobilization of limbs (immobilization)
• for calcium-containing renal stones (nephrolithiasis) or calcification of the kidney (nephrocalcinosis).

Warnings and Precautions
