Field of use
Azedil 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution (pack size: 5 ml) is used for symptomatic treatment of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) in adults, adolescents and children aged 6 and over.
Mode of action
Azedil 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution (pack size: 5 ml) contains the active ingredient azelastin. Azelastin belongs to a group of medicines that are referred to as antihistamines. Antihistamines prevent the effects of substances (such as histamines), which are produced by the body in connection with an allergic reaction. It was shown that Azelastin can reduce inflammation in the nose.

There is no sufficient experience with the treatment of patients with liver and/or renal failure with Azedil 1 mg/ml nasal spray solution (pack size: 5 ml).
Taking
- The application should take place if the head is upright
- After removing the protective cover, the first application only has to be pumped several times until even spray levers.
- Spray a spray per nose hole with upright head keeping.
- After use, wipe the spray pump with a clean paper handkerchief and put the protective cover again.

- If you have not used the nasal spray for 3 weeks or more and want to start using the application, you have to press the pump beforehand.
