1. What is ASS STADA ® and what is it used for?

Ass STADA ® is an analgesic, fever-lowering and anti-inflammatory medicine (non-steroidal anti-phlogistikum / analgesic). Ass STADA ® is applied to light up to moderately strong pain and fever. Please note the information for children (see point 2: Special care when taking ass STADA ® is required).

2. What do you need before taking ass STADA ® Note?

Ass STADA ® must not be taken:

• if it is hypersensitive (allergic) against the active ingredient acetylsalicylic acid or any of the other ingredients of ASS STADA ® are
• if you have in the past on certain medicines against pain, fever or inflammation (salicylates or substances with similar effects such as other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory inhibitors) with asthma attacks or otherwise reacted hypothesis
• with existing or past stomach or duodenary ulcer (peptic ulcer) or bleeding with at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding of proven ulcers or bleeding

Special care when taking ass STADA ® is required:

Effects on the gastrointestinal tract:
A simultaneous application of ASS STADA ® with other non-steroidal inflammatory inhibitors (NSAR), including so-called Cox inhibitors (cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors), which u. These patients should start treatment with the lowest available dose. Here, a combination therapy with gastric mucosal protective medicinal products (eg misoprostol or proton pump inhibitors) should be considered. This is also recommended for patients who take other medicines that increase the risk of a disease of the gastrointestinal tract (see point 2: when taking ass STADA ® with other medicines). If you, especially at a higher age, have a history of side effects on the gastrointestinal tract, you should report any unusual symptom in the abdomen, especially at the beginning of therapy. Caution is required if you simultaneously take medicinal products that increase the risk of creating ulcers or bleeding, such as: B. corticoids, blood cluttering drugs such as warfarin, selective serotonin resumption inhibitors, which are prescribed, among other things, for the treatment of depressive moods, or thrombocyte aggregation inhibitors (see point 2: when taking ass STADA ® with other medicines). Other notes:
Side effects can be reduced by applying the lowest effective dose to the shortest time required for symptom control. In the event of permanent ingestion of painkillers, headaches may occur, which lead to re-taking and thus can cause a continuation of the headache. The habitual intake of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of renal failure (analgesics nephropathy). Ass STADA ® reduces the effect of:

• Diuretics (medium for increased urinary excretion) at dosages of ASS STADA ® from 3 g of acetylsalicylic acid (corresponds to 6 Tablets) per day and more
• Blood pressure-lowering medicines in particular ACE inhibitors at dosages of ASS STADA ® from 3 g of acetylsalicylic acid (corresponds to 6 Tablets) per day and more

Ass STADA ® should therefore not be used together with any of the above substances without the doctor expressly given the statement.

When taking ass STADA ® together with food and beverages:
