APOPROSTAT^® forte 65 mg soft capsules

Active ingredient: Phytosterol 65 mg.

Area of application: Medicines of plant origin to improve prostate-related urinary problems. For the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active ingredient, peanut, soy, other ingredients, as well as proven hypersitosterolemia.

Warnings: Contains peanut oil and deoiled phospholipids from soybeans.

APOPROSTAT^® forte for the symptomatic treatment of benign prostate enlargement

APOPROSTAT^® forte is a medicinal product of plant origin to improve prostate-related urinary problems. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of benign Prostatic hyperplasia (benign enlargement of the prostate).

• For the symptomatic treatment of benign prostate enlargement
• Reduces sleep interruptions due to nocturnal urination
• Improves typical prostate problems
• Maximum dosage: the power of the concentrate with 65 mg of phytosterol

Application:
Adults aged 18 and over:
Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 soft capsule APOPROSTAT^® forte is taken twice daily. The soft capsules are taken unopened and always without chewing, if possible with meals or immediately afterwards (not on an empty stomach) with sufficient liquid. When APOPROSTAT^® forte is taken twice a day, it is taken in the morning and evening.
For oral use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Duration of application:
In view of the chronic nature of the disease, therapy with APOPROSTAT^® forte is intended as long-term therapy.

Ingredients:
The active ingredient is: Phytosterol 1 soft capsule contains 65 mg phytosterol (at least 70% β-sitosterol). The other ingredients are: refined peanut oil, pumpkin seed oil, refined rapeseed oil, all-rac-α-tocopherol (vitamin E) as an antioxidant, gelatin, glycerol, hard fat, polysorbate 80, deoiled phospholipids from soybeans, iron (III) oxide (E 172 ), iron oxides and hydroxides (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171)

Warnings:
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. In rare cases (1 to 10 people treated in 10,000), upper abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, nausea or a skin rash may occur. Peanut oil can cause allergic reactions. Deoiled phospholipids from soybeans can very rarely cause allergic reactions. Regular medical check-ups are recommended.

A notice:
- This medicine improves the symptoms of an enlarged prostate without resolving the enlargement itself. Please consult your doctor at regular intervals. A doctor should be consulted, especially if there is blood in the urine or acute urinary retention.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken,
- if you are allergic to phytosterol, peanut or soy or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
- with proven hypersitosterolemia (hereditary metabolic disease).

dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
The recommended dose is
- Unless otherwise prescribed, 1 soft capsule is taken twice daily.
- Please adhere to the instructions for use, otherwise the medicine will not work properly.

Duration of application
- In view of the chronic nature of the disease, therapy with the drug is intended as long-term therapy.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken more than you should
- Negative consequences of an overdose are not to be expected and have not yet been reported.

If you forget to take it
- If you miss taking a soft capsule once, do not take it next time
  more than the prescribed amount.

If you stop taking it
- If your symptoms noticeably improve, be sure to complete the treatment. However, if an interruption of treatment or an early termination is necessary from a medical perspective, this can happen at any time. Undesirable consequences beyond the recurrence of urinary symptoms are not to be expected.
