Field of use

• The preparation is a ophthalmic (medicinal products for use on the eye) with decongestant effect. It contains the active ingredient tetryzolin hydrochloride.
• If you don't feel better or worse after 2 days, contact your doctor.
• Field of use
  • For the swelling of the mucous membrane with non -infectious eye irritation, e.g. B. by smoke, wind, chlorinated water, light and with allergic inflammation, such as. B. hay fever with eye participation.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be applied if you
  • allergic to tetryzolin hydrochloride or one of the other components of this medicine are,
  • with green star (Engwinklaucom),
  • in children under 2 years.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Children from 2 years, young people and adults
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor 2 to 3 times a day 1 drop in the conjunction. Remove contact lenses beforehand (see "Notes for contact lens supports").
• Duration of the application
  • The preparation should only be used in the case of lighter states of the eye. If no improvement occurs within 48 hours, or if the eye irritation or redness remains or increases, you should not use the preparation further and see a doctor.
  • Do not apply the preparation without medical advice for more than 5 days.
  • Long -term application and overdose, especially in children, must be avoided.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

• If you have used a larger amount than you should
  • In the event of an overdose, you will inform your doctor immediately.
  • When used in the eye, overdosing symptoms are unlikely. Poisoning can occur through significant overdose or accidental intake: The clinical image of poisoning with the preparation can be confusing, since phases of stimulation can alternate with phases of oppression of the central nervous system and the cardiovascular system.
  • Symptoms of stimulation of the central nervous system are fear of fear, excitement, borne perception and cramps. Symptoms due to the inhibition of the central nervous system are humiliation of body temperature, participation, sleepiness and coma.
  • The following other symptoms can occur:
    • Expansion or narrowing of the pupils,
    • Nausea, vomiting,
    • increased salivation,
    • Blue coloring of the skin,
    • Fever, sweating, pallor,
    • irregular heartbeat, palpitations, too faster or too slow heartbeat, cardiac arrest,
    • Increase or shock -like humiliation of blood pressure,
    • Fluid accumulation in lung tissue,
    • Breathing disorders, respiratory arrest.
  • Especially in children, after overdose by swallowing, central nervous effects with cramps and coma, slow heartbeat, respiratory arrest and an increase in blood pressure, that of bloodpressure drop can be replaced.
  • In the case of poisoning, monitoring and therapy in the hospital is necessary.

• If you have forgotten the application
  • Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.

Taking

• For use on the eye.
• After unscrewing the locker, the bottle is taken in the hand so that the opening shows downwards. Close the bottle again after use.
• In order to avoid contamination, the tip of the container must not be touched or come into contact with other objects.

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using the preparation.
  • You should only apply the medicine on the advice of the doctor, at
    • severe cardiovascular diseases (e.g. coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, pheochromocytoma),
    • benign prostate enlargement,
    • Metabolic disorders (e.g. overactive thyroid, diabetes, disruption of the formation of the red blood pigment),
    • dry nasal mucosa and conjunctivitis,
    • Treatment with possibly blood pressure-enhancing medication (e.g. Mao-inhibitor).
  • The preparation must not be used for narrow -angle glaucoma. With other glaucoma, the application may only be carried out with special caution and under medical control.
  • Permanent or high -dose use can lead to increased redness of the eyes.
  • Eye irritation or eye stems are often a sign of serious eye diseases that have to be treated by the ophthalmologist.
    The ophthalmologist should be consulted immediately when strong acute or one-sided eye reddening, severe eye and headache, vision deterioration or visual disturbances (e.g. Seeing double images or flying points in front of the eyes).
  • If you apply this product, the eye pupils can temporarily

  • Notes for contact lens carriers
    • Contact lenses must not be worn in the present eye disease. If in exceptional cases it is permitted to wear hard contact lenses from the ophthalmologist, take them out before dropping and insert them again 15 minutes after dropping.
  • Children
    • Infants and children under the age of 2 must not be treated with this medicine.
    • Long -term application and overdose, especially in children, must be avoided. The application in children and higher doses may therefore only be carried out under medical control.

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • After using the eye drops, there may be blurry seeing and a pupil extension can occur. In these cases, the reaction capacity in road traffic or the ability to operate machines can be impaired.

Pregnancy

• The preparation must not be used during pregnancy and lactation.
