Vidisic ® EDO®
1 g eye gel contains 2 mg carbomer

1. What is Vidisic® Edo® and what is it used for?

Vidisic ® EDO® is a tearing substitute. It is used as a replacement of the tear fluid in disturbed tear production and the symptomatic treatment of the dry eye.

2. What should you be used before using VIDISIC® EDO® NOTE?

Vidisic ® EDO® must not be used:

• if you are allergic to carbomers or one of the section 6. mentioned other ingredients of this medicinal product are.

Warnings and Precautions:
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist or medical personnel before you Vidisic ® EDO® applicable. Frequently, wearing contact lenses is not permitted for tear deficiency states. If no obstacle of ophthalmic perspective does not exist against wearing contact lenses, you should be before the dropping of Vidisic ® EDO® removed and at the earliest 15 minutes after dropping.

Application of Vidisic ® EDO® together with other medicines:

With Vidisic ® EDO® have not been carried out any studies on pregnant women, on the other hand, there are no suspicion moments that speak against the application in pregnancy and lactation. Driving and ability to operate machines:

3. How to use VIDISIC® EDO?

Type of application:
For use on the eye.

Dosage:
The dry eye therapy requires an individual dosage. Depending on the severity and expression of complaints 3 - to 5 times a day or more frequently and about 30 minutes before sleeping 1 drops in the conjunctive bag. For each application, a new one-dose ophthaliol is to be used.

Duration of application:
When treating the dry eye, which is usually used as long-term or continuous therapy, an ophthalmologist should be consulted. Vidisic ® EDO® is suitable for continuous therapy. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Vidisic ® EDO® is too strong or too weak.

If you have a larger amount of Vidisic ® Edo® applied than you should:
No overdose reactions are known and not to be expected in this type of application.

If you use the application of Vidisic ® EDO® forgot:
Do not turn twice the amount if you forget the previous application. Continue therapy with the same dosage to the next intended time. If necessary, you can Vidisic ® EDO® also apply between two scheduled times.

If you use the application of Vidisic ® EDO® Cancel:
Should you use the application of Vidisic ® Edo® interrupt, so you need to expect that soon the typical symptoms of a dry eye show. If you have further questions about the application of this medicine, contact your doctor, pharmacist or medical personnel.

4. Which side effects are possible?

Like all medicines Vidisic ® edo® have side effects, but you do not have to occur each other. The frequency information on the side effects is based on the following categories:
Very common: More than 1 treated from 10
Frequently: 1 to 10 treated from 100
Occasionally: 1 to 10 treated from 1,000
Rarely: 1 to 10 treated from 10,000
Very rare: less than 1 treated from 10,000
Unknown: Frequency on the basis of the available data is not estimable

Very rarely, there may be an incompatibility reaction against one of the ingredients. In very rare cases, patients developed with pronounced corneal damages under treatment with phosphate-containing eye drop turbidity of the cornea by lime deposits.

5. How to keep VIDISIC® EDO?

Keep this medicine inaccessible to children. The medicine may no longer be used after expiry of the expiry date. You will find the expiration date on the carton and the one-dose ophthaliole. The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Storage conditions:
Please do not over + 25° C. Keep the one-dose ophthtiples in the carton to protect the content from light.

Note on durability after a break:
Vidisic ® EDO® does not contain a preservative. Opened one-dose ophthtioles should therefore not be stored. The remaining amount remaining after use in the ophthtools must be discarded.

6. Content of the pack and further information

What Vidisic ® EDO® contains:
The active ingredient is:
Carbomer (viscosity 40,000-60,000 MPa-S) in a concentration of 2 mg / g eye gel.

The other ingredients are:
Sorbitol (Ph.eur.); Sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate (pH. EUR.); Sodium hydroxide (for pH adjustment); Water for injection purposes.

Vidisic ® Edo® is a clear, colorless eye gel. Packs of 10, 30, 60 and 120 one-dose ophthtioles with 0.6 ml eye gel
