1. What is Vasopos N and what is it used for?

Vasopos N affects the blood vessels on the eye. Vasopos N is applied to the symptomatic therapy of non-excitation-related conjunctivations of the eye.

2. What should you consider before using Vasopos N?

Vasopos n must not be used:
  • if they are hypersensitive (allergic) against tetryzoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of Vasopos n,
  • in the case of an intraocular pressure increase (bottled angle glaucoma)
  • in children under 2 years.

Warnings and Precautions:
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before applying Vasopos N. Take special care with Vasopos N is required, with severe cardiovascular diseases (eg coronary heart disease, hypertension, pheochromocytoma, Metabolic disorders (eg thyroid overfunction, diabetic disease), treatment with blood pressure-enhancing drugs (eg monoamine oxidase inhibitors), dry nasal mucosal inflammation (rhinitis sicca), keratoconjunctivitis sicca (so-called dry eye), glaucoma. Please note that an eye irritation or eye-mounting often can also be a sign of a serious eye disease and should therefore interview an ophthalmologist. Search the next reachable ophthalmologist immediately when
  1. the eyesight acute or occurs
  2. add to your current complaints eye or headaches
  3. Remark a visual deterioration or flying points in front of the eyes!

Vasopos N may not be used at engnginkelglaukom. For other glaucomas, the use of Vasopos N may only be carried out with particular care and under medical control. Vasopos N must not be swallowed and is therefore unattainable for children.

Children and adolescents:
Vasopos N may not be applied to children under 2 years. Long-term use and overdose, especially in children, are to be avoided. Application in children and higher dosage may therefore only be carried out under medical control.

Application of Vasopos N together with other medicines:
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you apply other medicines, recently applied other medicines or intend to apply other medicines. The blood pressure-enhancing effect of monoamine oxidase inhibitors and tricyclic antidepressants (medicines for the treatment of morbid moods / depression) can be strengthened.

Note:
If you also use other eye drops or eye ointments, you should comply with a temporal distance of 15 minutes between the applications of each preparation. Eye albums should always apply them as last.

Pregnancy and breast feeding period:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect to be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before applying this medicine. Vasopos N may not be used in pregnancy and lactation.

Driving and ability to operate machines:
In rare cases, it can come to blurry seeing and glare. You can then no longer respond to unexpected and sudden events quickly and specifically enough. Therefore, do not drive car or other vehicles using Vasopos N! Do not operate any electrical tools or machinery! Do not work without a safe grip!

Important information about certain other ingredients of Vasopos N:
If, despite the present eye disease, there are no objections to wearing contact lenses, the contact lenses should be taken from the eye before dropping the preparation in the conjunctive bag and reciprocated at the earliest 15 minutes after dropping. Due to the risk of material true, a direct contact with soft contact lenses must be excluded.

3. How is Vasopos n to apply?

Always use this medicine as described in this leaflet or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose if not otherwise prescribed by the doctor:
Drop 1 drops of Vasopos N eye drops for 2-3 times a day each with a slightly covered head in the conjunctive socket.

Eye drops should be used in principle so that a contact of the tropfer with eye or facial skin is avoided. Unscrew the protective cap, put the head back slightly, pull off the lower lid slightly from the eye and bring a drop into the tethering bag by light pressure on the bottle. Slowly close the eyelids. After use, the bottle should be carefully closed again. An application over more than 5 days may only be carried out under medical control! Please talk to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect of Vasopos N is too strong or too weak.

Application in children and adolescents:
Vasopos N may not be applied to children under 2 years. Long-term use and overdose, especially in children, are to be avoided. Application in children and higher dosage may therefore only be carried out under medical control.

If you have used a larger amount of Vasopos N than you should:
Sign of an overdose on the eye are wide pupils. Maybe in milder form signs as in swallowing Vasopos N (see also "side effects“).

When swallowing the liquid, the following disease characters may occur:
Nausea, cyanosis (bluish skin by reduced oxygen content of blood), fever, cramps, elevated and irregular heartbeat, cardiac arrest, high blood pressure, pulmonary edema (increased tissue water in the lungs), respiratory disorders and mental disorders, may also inhibition Central nervous functions with drowsiness, humiliation The body temperature, too slow heartbeat, shock-like blood pressure drop, respiratory arrest and coma (deep unconsciousness).

In small children, central nervous disorders, reduction in breathing and circulatory breakdown can occur. Call the next accessible doctor to help with the occurrence of these disease signs! Possible medical countermeasures are administration of medical coal, gastric purgeand oxygen ventilation. Vasopressors (Medicines for the blood pressure increase) must not be given. If you forget the application of Vasopos N:

4. Which side effects are possible?

Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, but they do not have to occur each other.

Possible side effects:
It can lead to local reactions on the eye such as hypersensitivity and incompatibility reactions (eg burning, pain, increased tear flow, conjunctivation, eye swelling, itching), mydriasis (Advanced Pupil), blurred seeing come. Often there is a transfer of Vasopos N to the body cycle, which to palpitations, headache, tremble especially on the hands (Tremor), weakness, sweating and blood pressure increase can lead. 5. How to keep Vasopos n?

Keep this medicine inaccessible to children. You may not use this medicine after the expiry date specified on the label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month. Do not store more than 25 ° C. Vasopos N is useful after a break 4 weeks. Do not dispose drugs in the wastewater or household waste. The active ingredient is tetryzoline hydrochloride 0.5 mg / ml.

The other ingredients are:
Chlorhexidinbis (D-Gluconate) 0.05 mg / ml; Sorbitol; Potassium dihydrogen phosphate; Potassium monohydrogen phosphate (ph.eur.); Water for injection purposes.
