Lipidoid foam wound pad with NOSF
Urgocell® Start is an absorbent foam wound pad with NOSF based on patented lipidocolloid technology (TLC) was developed. Thanks to the unique combination of lipidoid technology (TLC) and the innovative nano-oligo saccharide factor (NOSF), URGOCELL START ensures that an optimal wound healing process can start.

NOSF adds the lipido-droid technology to complementary properties: NOSF reduces the harmful effect of the proteases and supports the positive activity of growth factors. The combination of TLC and NOSF thus enables the restoration of favorable conditions for the granulation of chronic wounds, which are characterized in particular by the following factors: a surplus of proteases, a lack of growth factors, a lack of extracellular matrix and an aging of fibroblasts. In contact with the woundxsudate, the TLC matrix transforms into a gel and forms a lipido driver movie. This creates a humid milieu, which is favorable for the wound healing process and in particular for the circulation of the growth factors. The effect of the cells particularly important for the wound healing process (fibroblasts, keratinocytes and macrophages) can thus be optimally unfolded.

Thanks to the wound healing-promoting properties in conjunction with efficient exuder recording and very good skin compatibility, Urgocell start is suitable for the treatment of exudient, chronic wounds according to the cleaning phase, especially if the medical suspicion of delayed wound healing.

Urgocell Start is fixed with a secondary association. The use under a compression association is very possible because the exudates are also included under pressure in the association.
