composition

1 ampoule to 20 ml contains:
1.68 g of sodium hydrogen carbonate
Other ingredients:
Edetinic acid, disodium salt 2 H20, water for injection purposes

application areas
Metabolic azidoses. Alkalization for barbititude and salicylate poisoning.

Contraction
Alkaloses; Hypernatemia; Hypokalemia.

Interaction
Do not use with calcium and magnesium-containing solutions; Do not mix with phosphate-containing solutions.

Dosage instructions
Continuous drip up to a maximum of 25 drops / minute (= maximum 1 ampoule in 16 minutes) and 100 ml / day (correspondingly 5 ampoules) taking into account the acid base household.
Sodium bicarbonate solution 8.4% can be infused or diluted.

Hints
Paravenous application can result in necroses. Controls of the acid-base household and serum ionogram are required. Visit in hypokalemia. At dose of dose risk of hypocalcaemic tetania.
