Sensodyne fluoride

The basic prophylaxis against pain-sensitive teeth. With potassium nitrate. The active substance potassium nitrate is protective about the tooth nerve, is soothing and fighting the pain. In addition, fluoride protects the teeth and the exposed toothed halves from caries.

Before - without Sensodyne:
Thermal or tactile irritation of the dental market causes a disturbance of the ion balance. It comes to the inflow of sodium ions and the simultaneous outflow of potassium ions and thus for depolarization of the cell membrane, this triggers the pain.

Afterwards - with Sensodyne Fluoride:
The active ingredient potassium nitrate penetrates the dentin channels into the tooth and protrudes around the tooth nerve. The tooth nerve is calmed down and the tooth is thereby protected against pain sensitivity.

Gentle cleaning (low abrasion value), sodium fluoride (1,450 ppm fluoride) for caries prophylaxis.
