1. What is Sanopinwer® inhalat and what is it used for?

Sanopinwer® Inhalat is a herbal medicine for respiratory colds.
Field of use:
For inhalation to improve the complaints in case of respiratory control diseases with a viscous mucus.
If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, contact your doctor.

2. What should you consider inhaled before using Sanopinwern?

SANOPINERWER® inhalat must not be used,

• if they are allergic to the active substances of eucalyptus oil or pine needle oil as well as cineol, the main component of eucalyptus oil;
• for infants and toddlers up to 2 years;
• at asthma bronchiale;
• at ladding cough;
• at Pseudokrupp;
• or other respiratory diseases associated with a pronounced hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract.

Warnings and Precautions:
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before applying Sanopinwern® inhalat.
In case of complaints that last longer than a week or when the respiratory distress, fever, as well as a purulent or bloody ejection, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
When using Sanopinwer® inhalat, the contact of the medicine must be avoided with the eyes.

Children:
General security weighings (risk of scalding) SANOPInwer® inhalat is not a steam inhalation in children under 6 Years are applied. Even larger children can not be inhaled without supervision!

Application of Sanopinwern® inhalat together with other medicines:
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you take / apply other medicines, recently taken / applied / applied or intend to take / use other medicines.
Eucalyptus oil causes activation of the foreign substance-degrading enzyme system in the liver. The effects of other medicines can therefore be attenuated and / or shortened. Ask your doctor if you want to apply other resources.

Pregnancy and breast feeding period:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect to be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before applying this medicine.
For the use of Sanopinwern® inhalat during pregnancy and lactation, there are no sufficient investigations. Therefore, this medicine should not be used during this time.

Driving and ability to operate machines:
There are no experience in the impairment of ability to drive and the ability to serve machines.

3. How to use Sanopinwer® inhalat?

Always use this medicine as described in this leaflet or exactly after the arrangement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is:
For schoolchildren and adults, up to 3 times a day 1-5 Drop Sanopinwern® inhalat with approx. 0.5 l of hot water and inhaled the vapors. When using the Sanopin® inhaler, about 250 ml of water are sufficient.
For children between 2 and 6 years, up to 3 times a day 1-5 Drop Sanopinwern® inhalat on the clothes (color right textiles) in the vicinity of the respiratory organs.

Duration of application:
The duration of the treatment depends on the course of the disease. The information under section 1. - what is Sanopinwern® Inhalat and what is it used for? "Are to be considered.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Sanopinwern® inhalat is too strong or too weak.

If you have used a larger amount of Sanopinwern® inhalat than you should:
With excessive inhaling cough and shortness can occur. After canceling the inhalation, the complaints sound.

Accidental ingestion of larger amounts of Sanopiners ® inhalat, which, et al. If the active substance contains eucalyptus oil, can significant complaints (e.g., vomiting, abdominal pain, dizziness, respiratory distress) cause.
In this case, even if no complaints have occurred, you should contact your doctor.
This is especially true if a small child has swallowed larger amounts of Sanopinwern® inhalat.
Milk or alcohol should not be drunk in the case of overdose, as they can promote the inclusion of the active ingredients of Sanopinwern® inhalat into the blood.

If you forget the application of Sanopinwern® inhalat:
Do not turn twice the amount if you forget the previous application. Run the application as prescribed by your doctor or described in the dosage instructions.

If you cancel the application of Sanopinwern® inhalat:
The application can be terminated at any time. The discontinuation of Sanopinwern® inhalat is usually harmless.

4. Which side effects are possible?

Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, but they do not have to occur each other.
The list includes all known side effects under treatment with preparations from EUCalyptus oil and pine needle oil, even under higher dosage or long-term therapy.

Possible side effects:
Rarely (up to 1 of 1,000 treated)
Contacts, allergic reactions, coughing stimulus.
To skin and mucous membranes, reinforced irritation can occur. A tension of the respiratory muscles (bronchospasms) Can be strengthened.

In rare cases (up to 1 of 1,000 treated), the inhalation of concentrated vapors of essential oils in infants and toddlers leads to respiratory arrest, presumably due to cramps of the cohesive.

Especially with infants and toddlers are very rare (up to 1 out of 10,000 treated) hypersensitivity reactions with cardiac rases (tachycardia), reducing the respiratory drive (Respiratory depression) and conventional inclination.

Note:
If used in terms of intended use (swallowed), nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may occur.

5. How to keep Sanopinwern® inhalat?

Keep this medicine inaccessible to children.
You may not use this medicine after the expirable date specified on the label and the folding box according to "usable to:". The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
Do not dispose of this medicine in the wastewater. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine if you do not use it anymore. You help to protect our environment.

Storage conditions:
This medicinal product does not require special storage conditions.
Note on durability after a break:
After breaking, SANOPINERWER® inhalat should not be used for more than 6 months.

The active ingredients are eucalyptus oil and pine needle oil.
10 g (= 11.3 ml) liquid included: active ingredients:
Eucalyptus oil 5.0 g
Pine needle oil 5.0 g

Like Sanopinwern® inhalat looks and content of the pack:
Sanopinwer® Inhalat is a clear, colorless to weak yellow liquid and is available in brown glass bottles with drip insert and screw cap to 10 ml and 20 ml.
Not all pack sizes may be placed on the market.
