Application instructions

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

Type of application?
Inflammation of the mouth and throat: Prepare the medicine and gargle with it.
Or: Prepare the medicine and rinse the oral cavity with it.
Wound treatment and leg ulcers: Prepare the medicine and apply the poultice to the wound(s).
To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over the tea and strain it through a tea strainer after about 10-15 minutes.

Duration of application?
The duration of use is not limited.Without medical advice, you should not use the medicine for longer than 1 week if the symptoms have not improved after this time or if the symptoms recur regularly.

Aurica marigold tea is a soothing, spicy medicinal tea made from the dried golden yellow flowers of the marigold “Calendula officinalis”.The valuable ingredients in marigold flowers can promote wound healing and inhibit inflammation.Marigold tea is therefore traditionally used as a gargle for inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth or throat and for external wound treatment.Complaints caused by poorly healing wounds, minor burns and skin rashes are alleviated by compresses made from marigold tea.

Composition: Medicinally active ingredient: marigold flowers

Dosage instructions and method of application: Unless otherwise prescribed, use in the mouth area by rinsing or gargling with a warm infusion 2 - 3 times a day.For use on wounds, compresses are prepared with an infusion 2 to 3 times a day.The infusion is prepared as follows: pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 - 2 teaspoons of marigold flowers (approx. 0.8 - 1.6 g) and let it steep for about 10 - 15 minutes.

Note: If the symptoms of mild inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat last longer than 1 week, recur or if unclear symptoms occur, you should consult a doctor.If the edges of the wound are severely reddened in large, weeping or purulently infected wounds, you should consult a doctor.

Contraindications: There are no sufficient studies on the use of marigold flowers during pregnancy and breastfeeding or in children under 12 years of age.Preparations made from marigold flowers should therefore not be used by this group of people.
