What is special about proSan Osteo D3/K2 Forte is the combination of 4,000 IU of vitamin D3 with vitamin K2, calcium and magnesium.

These 4 micronutrients are of central importance for the nutrition of the cells present in the bones (bone metabolism) and thus also for bone density:

Magnesium is required for vitamin D to be active in the body at all. If vitamin D is activated with the help of magnesium, a central task of vitamin D is the absorption and utilization of calcium from the intestine into the blood. The calcium is in the blood, but not yet in the bones. The body needs vitamin K2 to transport calcium to the bones. Only with the help of vitamin K2 does calcium get from the blood into the bones, where it is not only needed in healthy people, but also in bone diseases (e.g. osteoporosis). This is not only important for bone density and thus the resilience of the bones, but also for prevention.

The vitamin K2 (MK-7 all-trans) used in proSan Osteo D3/K2 Forte comes from natural plant sources — is well absorbed by the body and is active in the body longer than other forms of K2.

Vitamin D3 and vitamin K2 are fat-soluble vitamins. Both therefore need fat/OIL as a transport medium - only then can the body use and utilize vitamin D3 and K2. proSan D3/K2 - Capsules contain liquid D3 or K2 with a very high bioavailability based on oil.

Also included: zinc and manganese for bone mineralization, vitamin C for collagen formation in the bones and vitamin B6 for normal homocysteine metabolism.

Recommendation for use:
Unless otherwise recommended by your doctor, take 2 capsules daily whole with some liquid with or after a meal.
