What is Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% and what is it used for?
Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% is a means for use in the nose (Rhinology) and contains the alphasympathomimetic xylometazoline.
Xylometazoline has vascular stresses and thereby causes a mucosal exhaust.

Field of use:
For the decuning of the nasal mucosa in cold, unlimited fluid tap (rhinitis Vasomotorica), allergic snap (rhinitis allergy).
To facilitate the secret inflammation for inflammation of the nasal sinuses and at catarrh of the tube means ear in combination with cold.

Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% is intended for adults and schoolchildren.

What is Otriven Sinuspray to apply 0.1?
Use Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% always accurately after the instruction in this use information. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Dosage:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:
In adults and schoolchildren, as needed up to 3 times a day ever a spray bump Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% introduced into each nasal opening.
Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% is suitable for schoolchildren over 6 years and adults. It must not be used in children of the age group under 6 years.
For children from 2-6 years they are preparations with 0.05% Xylometazoline hydrochloride as well as for infants and toddlers preparations with 0.025% xylometazoline hydrochloride available.

Type of application:
Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% is intended for nasal application.
It is advisable to thoroughly sweep the nose before using the preparation.

Use:

1. Remove the protective cap.
   Before the first application, pump several times until the leakage of a uniform spray. For all other applications, the dosing spray is ready to use immediately.
2. Insert the spray opening into the nostril and pump once. Inhaled easily through the nose during the spraying process. After application, restart the protective cap.

The last application on each day of treatment should be conveniently done before bedtime.
For hygienic reasons and to avoid infections, it should be noted that each dosing unit can only be used by a patient.

Duration of application:
Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% should not be used for more than 7 days, unless on a medical order.
A renewed application should only take place after a break of several days.
The application in chronic couple may take place because of the risk of shrinkage of the nasal mucosa only under medical control.
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Otriven Sinuspray 0.1% too strong or too weak.

What is Otriven Storage Sinuspray 0.1?
Store drug out of reach of children.
You may not use the medicinal product after the expiration date specified on the folding box and the label.

Note on durability after a break:
After a break 4 weeks durable.
