Field of use

Numerous organs can develop a fungal infection, also called mycosis. A vaginal fungal infection is an infection of the vagina and/or the labia. An antifungal is used for treatment. This is necessary because a fungal infection cannot be eliminated by the body alone.

In most cases, vaginal fungal infection is caused by the yeast mushroom "Candida Albicans". Yeast mushrooms settle in small numbers on Schslim skin, e.g. in the oral cavity, in the intestine or in the vagina and usually have no disease value. However, if the vaginal milieu gets out of balance, there may be an excessive increase in mushrooms and thus infection.

The most common triggers are:
Hormone change during puberty, pregnancy or menopause
Defense weakness through stress or infections
Changed vaginal flora after taking an antibiotic

Typical symptoms of vaginal fungal infection:
Strong itching or burning in the area of external shame and the vaginal input of increased white-grayish, crumbly discharge
Reddening and swelling of the affected tissue

Mode of action

Mykofungin 3 (pack size: 3 pcs) removes the symptoms quickly, reliably and sustainably.
The active ingredient clotrimazole inhibits growth and increase in mushrooms and kills the mushroom cells.
It is well tolerated because it mainly acts on the cell membrane of the mushrooms, which differs from the human cell membrane.
The unpleasant symptoms usually disappear within a few days. For long -term therapeutic success, treatment should be continued until the symptoms are completely subsided.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you are hypersensitive (allergic) against clotrimazole or one of the other components of the medicine.

dosage

• Always apply the vaginal tablets exactly according to the instruction. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: apply 1 vaginal tablet once a day on 3 consecutive days.
• Notice
  • With dry sheath, the vaginal tablet may not dissolve. This can be recognized by the fact that solid crocks are excreted that z. B. find in the underwear. In this case, treatment should be carried out with a vaginal cream.

 

• Duration of the application
  • On 3 consecutive days, apply 1 vaginal tablet.
  • Notice
    • If the external signs of the disease (e.g. discharge, itching) have not fully subsided after the three -day treatment has ended, further treatment may only take place after consultation with the treating doctor.
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of the vaginal tablets is too strong or too weak.

 

• If you have used a larger amount of the vaginal tablets than you should
  • No cases of overdosing have been reported so far.

 

• If you have forgotten the application of the vaginal tablets
  • Do not apply the double dose if you have forgotten the previous application.

 

• If you cancel the application from the vaginal platter
  • Please adhere to the application regulations, otherwise the vaginal tablets cannot work properly.

 

• If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Taking

• The vaginal tablet is inserted into the vagina as deep as possible, preferably in a supine position.
• The treatment should not be carried out during menstruation or before whose start will be completed.

Patient information

• Particular caution when using vaginal tablets is required,
  • Use the vaginal tablets only in accordance with the medical prescription,
    • if you suffer from a fungal disease for the first time or for the first time
    • if the disease has occurred more than 4 times over the past 12 months, since the discharge and inflammation of the vagina can have different causes. In principle, these can only be diagnosed by a doctor.
