Field of use

• The medicine contains an active ingredient ammonium bituminosulfonate, an active ingredient from the group of sulfonated slate oils. It is a medicine for use on the skin (dermatic).
• It is used for short -term use (max. 9 days): to treat stress pain in the case of knee arthrosis.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you know that you have a proven hypersensitivity to the active ingredient ammonium bituminosulfonate, other sulfonated slate oils or the other component.
  • if you suffer from skin and teething problems with rash (inflammatory skin changes).
  • during pregnancy and breastfeeding
• The preparation should not be applied to open injuries, inflammation of the skin, eczema (itching) or mucous membranes.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, apply the preparation in the evening to a knife back to the sick knee. Depending on the size of the painful area to be treated, a cherry to walnut -sized amount (a 5 cm long ointment strand, approx. 2 - 3 g ointment) is required.
• The application is intended for short -term treatment (9 days).
• In the event of complaints that last for more than 3 days, a doctor should be consulted to clarify the symptoms.
• Please speak to your doctor if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak.

• What to do if you have used a larger amount than you should?
  • At athe preparation must be discontinued. Symptomatic treatment must be carried out if necessary.

• What to do if you have forgotten the application?
  • Do not apply twice the amount if you have forgotten the previous application.

• If you cancel the application
  • Please discuss the further procedure with your doctor because the success of the treatment is at risk.

Taking

• In the evening, apply a knife back to the sick knee.
• Cover the treated area with a bandage that is permeable to air. In the case of air -impermeable associations, there is a risk of greater skin damage up to bladder formation. The application of an airtight association (occlusal association) is therefore not recommended.
• The ointment association should be renewed after 3 days, unless intolerance reactions require an earlier removal of the ointment. The ointment residues must be washed off with every association change.
• After every removal of ointment, the container can be tightened again.
• For application on the skin.
• Just for external application, do not take it!

  • Children
    • Use in children is not recommended.
    • It should be ensured that children with their hands do not get in touch with the skin areas that have been grated with the medicine.

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • The preparation has no influence on the traffic and the ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• So far there is no knowledge of risks in the use of ammonium bitumino sulfonate in humans during pregnancy and lactation. Nevertheless, the preparation must not be used during pregnancy and lactation.

- The preparation must be discontinued when strong skin irritation occurs. If necessary, treatment must be carried out.
