Field of use

• What is the drug and what is it used for?
  • To reduce swelling.
• It is used
  • for supportive treatment
    • in the case of acute swelling states after blunt injuries (bruises, bruises) and
    • superficial vein inflammation, provided that this cannot be treated by pressure from outside (compression).
  • The primary treatment measure for superficial vein inflammation of the lower extremities is compression treatment.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be used,
  • if you are allergic to heparin sodium or one of the other components of this medicine,
  • if you have an acute or from the history of well -known allergic waste of the number of plates of blood (thrombocytopenia type II) by heparin.

dosage

• Always apply this medicine as described or exactly after the agreement made with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dosage is:
  • The ointment should be applied thinly and evenly to the disease area 2 to 3 times a day.

  • Do not apply the drug without medical advice for more than 10 days.

• Warnings and Precautions
  • The preparation should not be applied to open wounds and/or oozing eczema.
  • In the case of locally applied heparin, heparin is recorded by the healthy skin. Therefore, when the occurrence of new symptoms, which can indicate thrombosis or pulmonary embolism, such as
    • Swelling and feeling of heat in the affected body part,
    • red and tense skin, possibly blue coloring,
    • Feeling of tension and pain in foot, calf and knees (relief in the event of high storage),
    • sudden shortage of breath, chest pain and weakness/collapse,
  • the presence of a heparin-induced thrombocytopenia type II. Your doctor should therefore immediately check the number of blood (platelet number).

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • The medicine has no influence on the ability to use and the ability to use machines.

Pregnancy

• Previous experiences with the use of pregnant and breastfeeding have not shown any indications of harmful effects.
• Heparin is not placent agent and does not move into breast milk.
