Ginkgo has been used as a medicinal plant in Chinese medicine for thousands of years. The extract obtained from the Ginkgo Biloba leaves in Ginkgo STADA^® promotes blood flow Brain and can thus increase memory performance and improve concentration.

Application recommendation
The application is simple: adults and older patients take 3 ginkgo STADA^® tablets over at least 8 weeks. The intake should take place in the morning and in the evening.

Ingredients
What ginkgo STADA^® contains
The active ingredient is: Ginkgo Biloba dry extract.
A film-coated tablet contains 40 mg quantified, refined dry extract made of ginkgo biloba- Leaves (35–67: 1), moving out: Acetone 60 % (m/m).
The extract is quantified to 22.0–27.0 % flavonoids, calculated as flavonol glycosides, 2.8–3.4 % Ginkgolide A, B and C, 2.6–3.2 % bilobalide and contains a maximum of 5 ppm ginkgolic acids.

The other components are
Tablet core: croscarmellose sodium, high disperse silicon dioxide, lactose-monohydrate, Magnesium stearate (Ph. EUR.) [pflanzlich], microcrystalline cellulose, spray -dried glucose syrup. Finding: Opadry II White 85 F18422, consisting of: Macrogol 3350, Poly (vinyl alcohol), talkum, Titandioxide (E 171), iron (III) hydroxide oxide x H2O (E 172).

Contradictions

The medicine must not be taken
- if you are allergic to Ginkgo biloba extract or one of the other components of this medicine,
- during pregnancy.

dosage

Always take this medicine exactly after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose for adults and older patients is 1 film -coated tablet twice a day.
The twice daily intake should take place in the morning and evening.
Children and adolescents
- There is no relevant indication for children and adolescents.
Special patient groups
- There is no data for dosage in the event of limited kidney or liver function.
Duration of the application
- The treatment should be at least 8 weeks.
- If the symptoms have not improved after 3 months or the symptoms of the disease will increase, the doctor must check whether the continuation of the treatment is still justified.

If you have taken a larger amount than you should

- Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine:
  - if you have a pathologically increased tendency to bleed (hemorrhagic diathesis) and at the same time treatment with blood -thinning medication,
  - if you are known to an antiquity (epilepsy),
  - if an operation is planned in the next 3 to 4 days,
  - when you take Efavirenz.
- Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if the symptoms deteriorate during treatment.
- Children and adolescents
  - There is no relevant indication for children and adolescents.

Wateriness and ability to operate machines
- Your doctor will tell you whether your illness is allowed to drive you and operate machines.
