Recommended use of Efalex capsules:

Adults and children aged 5 and over take 5 capsules of Efalex capsules daily with plenty of liquid or with a meal.

Notes

Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Efalex capsules should be kept out of the reach of children.The daily recommended consumption amount should not be exceeded.

Efalex contains a balanced, special combination of evening primrose oil and fish oil, which are rich in long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids).

There is evidence that patients with ADHS and associated learning and concentration disorders may be deficient in polyunsaturated fatty acids.This deficiency can arise from reduced activity of the enzyme required to convert dietary fatty acids into specific long-chain fatty acids. In addition, even if we consume a sufficient amount of fatty sea fish and vegetable oils such as safflower or soybean oil, our diet does not contain enough omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to compensate for this deficit.

Evening primrose oil is obtained from special evening primrose seeds, which, through years of careful selection and breeding, have a naturally increased gamma-linolenic acid content (33% more than conventional evening primrose oil).This valuable oil is extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose in a particularly gentle process, so that the long-chain, polyunsaturated fatty acids are preserved in their natural form.

The fish oil contained in Efalex is carefully selected for its docosahexaenoic acid content.It comes from natural fish stocks and guarantees the highest quality and purity due to its origin and gentle processing.
