Unless otherwise prescribed, adults take 2 - 4 pearls. Children from 4 years of age take 1 - 2 pearls. Dulcolax® NP pearls are best taken in the evening with sufficient liquid. It is advisable to start with the lowest dose. The effect is expected the next morning after about 10-12 hours

  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.
  • If your symptoms have occurred spontaneously, last longer and/or are accompanied by symptoms such as blood in the stool or fever, you should be advised and examined by your doctor before starting treatment, because disorders or impairments of stool can be signed be a serious illness.
  • The preparation should not be taken daily or over longer periods without prior medical clarification.
