1. What is Enzyme Lefax Forte PankReatin capsules and what is it used for?

Enzyme Lefax Forte pancreatin capsules is a medicine with digestive enzymes. It is used to replace digestive enzymes in digestive disorders (maldichtion) due to insufficient or missing function of the pancreas (Exokrine pancreatic insufficiency).

2. What should you consider pancreatin capsules before taking Enzyme Lefax Forte?

Enzyme Lefax Forte pancreatin capsules may not be taken if they are allergic to pancreatic powder of the pig or one of the other ingredients of this medicine referred to in section 6.

Warnings and Precautions:
You should enzyme Lefax Forte pancreatin capsules with acute pancreatitis (pancreatitis) and an acute thrust of chronic pancreatic inflammation during the main disease phase only after consultation with your doctor. 3. How is Enzyme Lefax Forte PankReatin capsules to take?

Always take this medicine exactly after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: the dosage depends on the extent of digestive weakness. The directional dose is 1 - 2 hard capsules per meal (corresponding to 20,000-40,000 Lipase units). The required dose can also be above. If you have a larger amount of enzyme Lefax Forte pancreatin capsules taken as you should:
Overdosings have not yet become known.

If you have too little enzyme Lefax Forte PankReatin capsules taken or forget to take:
Do not take the double amount on the next intake, but continue taking as described in the dosage instructions.

4. Which side effects are possible?
Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, but they do not have to occur each other.

Very rarely, hypersensitivity reactions from the immediate type (such as rash, sneezing, tear flow, respiratory distress) and hypersensitivity reactions (allergic reactions) of the digestive tract after taking pancreatin have been observed. According to high doses of pancreatin preparations, in patients with mucovic acids, a congenital metabolic disorder, in individual cases, the formation of constrictions of the crummed arm / blind medium region and the ascending colon sections (Colon Ascendens) has been described. These constrictions may result in a colon closure. When hypersensitivity reactions occur, you should discontinue the drug and immediately enter medical care.
