1. What are Laxoberal discharge beads and what are they used for?

Laxoberal discharge beads are a laxative. Laxoberal donation beads are used in constipation as well as diseases that require facilitated stool emptying.
Like other laxatives, Laxoberal donation beads should not be taken daily or for a long time without medical clarification of the constipation cause.

2. What should you consider before taking Laxoberal discharge pearls?

Laxoberal discharge pearls may not be taken,
  • if they are allergic to sodium picosulfate, related active ingredients from the group of triarylmethanes or one of the other ingredients of this medicine mentioned in section 6;
  • in intestinal narrowing with deteriorated intestinal passage or in intestinal closure;
  • for strong, acute abdominal pain with or without fever (e.g. Blind dartitis), possibly in conjunction with nausea and vomiting;
  • with acute inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract;
  • with a significant lack of fluid of the body.

Constipation, combined with other complaints such as abdominal pain, vomiting and fever, can sign a serious illness (Colon closure, acute inflammation in the abdominal area). For such complaints, you must not take Laxoberal donation beads or other medicines and should immediately visit your doctor.

In case of diseases associated with disturbances of the water and mineral salt household (e.g., severely limited renal function), they may only take Laxoberal discharge beads under medical control.

Warnings and Precautions:
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Laxoberal discharge pearls.
If your complaints have occurred spontaneously, last longer and / or accompanied by symptoms such as blood in the chair or fever, you should advise and examine your doctor before starting treatment with Laxoberal donation beads, because Stöor impairments of the stool may be signs of a serious disease.
Laxoberal donation beads should not be taken uninterrupted daily or longer periods without prior medical clarification.
If Laxoberal donation beads are dropped, it can come to recurrence of the symptoms. After long-term use in chronic constipation, the recurrence of the symptoms can also be connected to an aggravation of the constipation.
In patients who occupied Laxoberal, dizziness and short-term seizures of unconsciousness (Syncopans) reported. According to the corresponding case reports, these are probably syncopans, which are due either to the discharge process per se, to the pressing or on circulatory reactions due to abdominal pain.

Children:
Laxoberal discharge pearls should not be used in children under 4 years.

Taking Laxoberal donation beads together with other medicines:
Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you take / use other medicines, recently taken / applied / applied or intend to take / use other medicines.
With simultaneous intake of antibiotics (drug against bacterial infections), it can lead to the loss of the laxative effect of Laxoberal discharge beads.
With excessive use of Laxoberal discharge beads, there is a risk of imbalance of potassium and other salts in the blood. With simultaneous use of other medicines (e.g., Nurning medium (diuretics) or hormones of the adrenal bark (Corticosteroids)) can be increased this risk.
This can lead to malfunctions of cardiac function and muscle weakness and increase the sensitivity to certain medicines for strengthening cardiac function (heartfielding glycosides.

Pregnancy and breast feeding period:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect to be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
There are no meaningful clinical trials for application in pregnancy. On an application in pregnancy should be waived as far as possible. It has been shown that neither effective form nor degradation products transform into the breast milk. Laxoberal discharge beads can therefore be used during breast-feeding.

Driving and ability to operate machines:
When using Laxoberal discharge beads in the intended dosage, no impairment is normally expected. However, if symptoms such as dizziness, short-term unconsciousness (syncope) or abdominal cramps occur, then the ability to participate in road traffic and servicing machines can be affected.

3. What are Laxoberal donating pearls take?

Always take this medicine as described in this leaflet or just as your doctor or pharmacist is directed. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual single dose for adults is:
2 - 4 soft capsules (beads) (equivalent to 5 - 10 mg of sodium picosulfate).
Children over 4 years take a single dose of 1 - 2 soft capsules (Pearls) (equals 2.5 - 5 mg of sodium picosulfate.

It is recommended to start with the lowest dosage. The dose can be adjusted to the maximum recommended dose to allow regular bowel movements. The daily steam dose of 4 Soft capsules (beads) (for adults) or of 2 soft capsules (Beads) (for children from 4 years) should not be exceeded.

Laxoberal donation beads are best taken with sufficient fluid in the evening. The laxative effect usually occurs after 10 - 12 hours.
Please note the duration up to the effective entry and do not try to force a bowel movement through strong presses.

Laxoberal donation beads should not be taken uninterrupted daily or longer periods without prior medical clarification.

If you take a greater amount of Laxoberal discharge pearls than you should:
Acute overdose of Laxoberal discharge beads Kannually lead to diarrhea and complaints in the abdomen. The countermeasures depend on the symptoms. Within a short time after ingestion, the effect of the drug can be reduced or prevented by induced vomiting or stomach irrigation. For heavy water and mineral losses, these are offset by the doctor's instructions. The administration of elasticants may be useful.

Furthermore, individual cases were reduced or Interrupted blood circulation of the colon mucosa reported in which the dosage of sodium picosulfate was considerably higher than the dosage recommended for the treatment of constipation.

Note:
Generally, Laxoberal disclosure beads as well as from other laxatives is known that they lead to chronic overdose to chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, decreased potassium values, excessive secretion of Aldosterone and renal stones. In conjunction with chronic laxative abuse, damage to the kidney tissue, metabolic-related increase in base concentrations in the blood and caused by lowered potassium values conditioned muscle weakness.

4. Which side effects are possible?

Like all medicines, this medicine can also have side effects, but they do not have to occur each other.

Immune system;
Unknown: allergic reactions

Nervous system:
Occasionally: dizziness

In case of improper use of Laxoberal discharge beads (too high dosed too high), it can lead to the loss of water, potassium and other electrolytes. This can cause disturbances of cardiac function and muscle weakness, especially while taking the urinary driven medicines (diuretics) or hormones of the adrenal cortex (corticosteroids).

If side effects occur, you should not continue to take Laxoberal donation beads and ask your doctor for advice.

5. What are Laxoberal donation beads to store?

Keep this medicine inaccessible to children.
You may not use this medicine after the expiry date specified on the outer carton and on the bottle label to "usable until". The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Storage conditions:
Do not store over 25 ºC.
Holding the vial tightly closed.
Durability after opening:
After the first opening of the vial Laxoberal discharge beads are still lasting for 12 months.

Do not dispose of medicines in the wastewater. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of the medicine if you do not use it anymore. They carry with the protection of Environment contribute.

What Laxoberal contain pearls
The active ingredient is sodium picosulfate.
1 soft capsule contains 2.593 mg of sodium picosulfate monohydrate (equivalent to 2.5 mg of sodium picosulfate).
The other ingredients are: purified water, propylene glycol, Macrogol 400, gelatin, glycerol.
