      • if allergies exist (e.g. with skin reactions, itching, nettle fever)
      • Asthma bronchial, hay fever, nasal mucus swelling (nasal polyps), chronic respiratory diseases,
      • simultaneous treatment with anticoagulant drugs (e.g. cumarine diversity, heparin (with the exception of low-dose heparin treatment)))
      • in patients with limited liver function
      • in patients with restricted kidney function or with reduced cardiovascular blood flow (e.g. renal vascular disease, congestive heart failure, loss of volume, larger operations, sepsis or severe bleeding events): Acetylsalicylic acid can further increase the risk of kidney function disorder and acute kidney failure,
      • chronic or recurring stomach or duodenum complaints
      • in the case of non -set hypertension, diabetes mellitus or in patients who take diuretics
      • before operations (even with smaller interventions such as B. the drawing of a tooth); There can be an increased tendency to bleed. Please inform your doctor or dentist if you have taken this medicine.
      • in patients with severe glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenic defect: acetylsalicylic acid can induce hemolysis or hemolytic anemia. The risk of hemolysis can be done by factors such as B. high doses, fever or acute infections.
    • Effects on the gastrointestinal tract
      • A simultaneous use of acetylsalicylic acid with other non-steroidal inflammatory inhibitors, including so-called Cox inhibitors (cyclooxygenase-2-inhibitors), which, among. be used against rheumatic symptoms must be avoided. In older patients, side effects occur more after using non-steroidal inflammatory inhibitors, in particular bleeding in the stomach and intestinal area that can be life-threatening.
      • Of bleeding, ulceration and breakthroughs (perforations) Im gastrointestinal area that can lead to death was reported in connection with the intake of all non-steroidal inflammatory inhibitors. They occurred with or without prior warning symptoms, or serious events in the gastrointestinal tract in the history, at any time of therapy.
      • The risk of this is increased with increasing NSAR dose, in patients with ulcers in the history, especially with the complications bleeding or breakthrough, and in older patients. These patients should begin treatment with the lowest available dose. Combination therapy with gastric mucosal-protecting medicines (e.g. misoprostol or proton pump inhibitor) should be considered here. This is also recommended for patients who take other medicines who increase the risk of a disease of the gastrointestinal tract.
      • Treatment must be canceled if bleeding or ulcer formation occurs in the gastrointestinal tract.
    • Other information
      • Side effects can be reduced by using the lowest dose via the shortest period required for symptom control.
      • If painkillers are used permanently, headaches can occur that lead to re -intake, and in turn can cause a continuation of the headache. The habitual intake of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure (analgesic nephropathy). This risk is particularly great if you take several different painkillers combined.
      • Acetylsalicylic acid reduces uric acid excretion in low doses. In patients who are already less uric acid excretion, this may trigger a gout attack.
    • Children and adolescents
      • In children and adolescents with febrile illnesses, the medicine should only be taken on medical instructions and only taken if other measures do not work. If these diseases occur with long vomiting, this can be a sign of Reye syndrome, a very rare but life-threatening illness that is absolutely necessary for immediate medical treatment.

Pregnancy

  • If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.
  • Pregnancy
    • Low doses (under 100 mg/d) seem to be harmless to the limited obstetric application under special monitoring.
    • In the case of doses over 100 mg/d, prostaglandin synthesis can affect pregnancy and/or embryonic/fetal development unfavorably. Taking
inhibitors of prostaglandin synthesis in early pregnancy can lead to an increased risk of miscarriages and for malformations that probably increases with the dose and the duration of use. Epidemiological data for acetylsalicylic acid indicate an increased risk of gastrosis.
    • Animal experimental studies showed reproductive toxicity.
    • The active ingredient may not be given during the 1st and 2nd trimmen of pregnancy, unless this is clearly necessary. If it is still used, the dose is so low and the duration of treatment is to be kept as short as possible.

    • 2. in the case of mother and child at the end of pregnancy
      • possible extension of the bleeding time (already possible with very low doses)
      • Inhibition of pain (can lead to a delayed or extended birth)
  • Breastfeeding
    • Acetylsalicylic acid and its breakdown products pass into breast milk in small quantities.
