Composition per capsule:
Phenylalanine 250 mg

Ingredients:
L-phenylalanine, bulking agent: corn starch; Capsule: HPM cellulose
Lactose and gluten free

Brief information on phenylalanine:
Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid and is metabolized into tyrosine.

Examples of possible nutritional measures of phenylalanine:
Doses range from 50 mg to 1 g depending on the particular nutritional regimen. Phenylalanine stimulates the synthesis of cholecystokinin and can therefore have appetite-suppressing properties. Phenylalanine is the precursor of tyrosine and is responsible for the synthesis of the catecholaminergic neurotransmitters. This can stimulate the increase in performance and energy. For improved metabolism, the administration of aminoplus phenylalanine should be combined with B vitamins and magnesium.

Important NOTE:
Not for patients with severe liver problems, for patients on anti-depressant therapy (MAO inhibitors, as this can dangerously increase blood pressure), nor for patients with hypertension, schizophrenia and phenylketonuria.
Not for pregnant women, breastfeeding women, children and young people.
Occasionally headaches and anxiety can be triggered.
