Field of use

nikofrenon® supports the weaning of cigarettes and other tobacco products. It reduces the withdrawal symptoms of nicotine dependency and facilitates the exit from addiction to cigarettes, cigarillos, cigars and other tobacco products.

Well -tolerated gradually, less and less nicotine is being added for 9 - 12 weeks. In this way, physical withdrawal symptoms are significantly reduced.

  • The preparation is not waterproof, but can be left on the skin when showering carefully. From a medical point of view, too, it is not necessary to remove the transdermal pavement from a medical point of view.
    In order to protect the transdermal pavement from moisture, it can be glued over with an ordinary active ingredient -free plaster.   • Patients with well -known muscle weakness (Myasthenia Gravis, pseudomyasthenic syndrome) In the history, under treatment with the preparation, a deterioration of their symptoms caused by muscle weakness can develop.
• Children and adolescents
  • Children must not be treated with this preparation.
    There is no experience in the application of this preparation in patients under the age of 18.
• Older people
  • There are only limited experiences about the use of this medicine in smokers over 65 years, but the effectiveness and tolerance in this age group seems to be unproblematic.

 

• Wateriness and ability to operate machines
  • There are no evidence of risks in road traffic or when operating machines as long as the recommended dosage is observed. However, note that behavioral changes can be caused when smoking.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this drug.
• Pregnancy
  • Smoking can cause serious damage to the fetus and the baby and should be ended. Pregnant smokers are recommended to smoke smoking without the support of nicotine -containing medicines. The use of this preparation should only be considered after consultation with the doctor if there is a risk of further smoking.
