Mode of action

Vegetarian capsule with 350 mg of yam root extract with a diosgenin content of 16%.

The bot. Yam family includes about 600 species, whose roots are consumed as a vegetable in Asia and Africa. The present species “villosa” or “mexicana” contain high levels of diosgenin. Diosgenin, this substance is very similar to women's natural progesterone.

The diosgenin content of the Mexican wild yam root is higher than that of other species. For this reason we only use Mexican wild yams.
