MISTEL TEE

The botanical name of the species-rich genus is Viscum (Latin for glue or adhesive).The Romans made bird glue from the sticky berries, which was used to catch birds.The term viscosity as a measure of the viscosity of a fluid goes back to the sticky mucus of mistletoe berries (mistletoe glue), and therefore literally means “mistletoe” or “glueiness”.

To prepare a tea infusion.

Dosage/method of administration
Loose tea: 1 teaspoon (approx. 2.5 g) of mistletoe tea is poured with boiling water (approx. 150 ml), left to stand overnight and then consumed.
Filter bag: 1 tea bag is poured with boiling water (approx. 150 ml), left to stand overnight and then consumed.
Drink 3-4 cups of the infusion throughout the day.
