If possible, hydrocolloid herpes patch should be used at the first signs of cold sores.

Application

Wash your hands thoroughly before using the hydrocolloid herpes patch.Check that there are no cosmetic residues on the lips.The area to which the hydrocolloid herpes patch is applied should be dry so that it adheres well.

After removing the backing film, carefully press the patch onto the affected area with your finger.
Leave the plaster on the wound until it begins to come off on its own.
Wash your hands well after use.

Notes

Makeup or lipstick can be applied over the patch.
